Location, price, view of the bay(sort of). Updated flooring and bathroom countertops

Typical motel room. Not bad, just what is. But it was clean and the staff were nice.

The room and bedding were clean and bed was comfortable. Those are always a main objective.

At about 8:30 am we were awakened by cleaning staff talking and laughing as they were in the hallway and stairway going to the second floor or the 3rd floor. Our room was at the outside stairway and right at the outside exposed hallway to reach the rooms on front side of hotel. No elevator for 3 story structure. Also, had to run heater all night as the doorway entrance to the room was an outside door and the doorway was not sealed. The outside cold air was coming in around the door. With the cost of energy and a room entrance exposed to the outside temperature I would think it would be cost saving to them to have the doorway properly sealed. I included a picture I took the morning we departed.

It was close to everything and the view the harbor out the window was a plus. The staff was very friendly.

That it didn’t have AC as advertised. They do offer a box fan which helped a lot, but didn’t know they had that until the last night. Could do some small repairs to the room but nothing major. The bed was a little bit uncomfortable the old spring style.
