Excelente calidad del descanso (el colchón de la cama de matrimonio era muy cómodo) y un desayuno espectacular en el que había de todo para todos los gustos.
El hotel está en una zona tranquila alejado del bullicio del centro.
La hora de entrada es un poco tardía (15 horas), pero esa es la política del hotel, así que dejamos las maletas en recepción y volvimos por la noche a dormir.
Por otra parte, si quieres hacer turismo, el hotel está un poco alejado del centro.

I loved the breakfast! Definitely a high standard and the best I had on my trip. Huge variety, not packed in plastic, also biological, fruits..... Access to the hotel was easy as it is not directly in the center but within a 10 minutes walking distance.
The room was very small (even for one person) and some maintenance should be done as there wer lot of signs of wear and tear.

hotel was cozy. room was clean. I stayed with a cat and hotel provided litter box for my cat - no other hotel did that despite additional payment at all hotels. breakfast was excellent! very good choice, everything was delicious.

We made a reservation at hotel NH Ciudad Valladolid and we were moved to this hotel NH Balago located far from the city center. The rate at booking.com from the reserved hotel was 40 eur more expensive than the NH Balago. Although the hotel did not charge 25 eur for our small pet we ending paying 15 eur for this change. The room a/c was not efficient.

Breakfast was all you could expect in the circumstances. The Duty manager was very helpful and managed to get us a good evening meal. Which was just as well as there was not a single restaurant open at the time we wanted to.
