Crowne Plaza Phu Quoc Starbay by IHG

the staff are very friendly, very up to their game, and they serve us complimentary drinks upon arrival and it was delicious. they helped us with our dirty laundry too. theres abit of language barrier, but with context you'll get there. the room was spot on, and since they notice we are celebrating our honeymoon, they upgraded our room. it was very much appreciated. the bed was comfy and clean, the entire room is clean and spacious. our view for the sunset at the balcony was very beautiful. my husband and i would watch the sunset every evening. we even managed to catch a rainbow. we get to swim at the beach and its such an experience. (the good kind) would definitely come again for our anniversaries.

Its abit hard to get food for halal dietary, we had to go out to grandworld area to find food. for breakfast, we ate vegetarian food with fruits and salad at the hotel. lunch and dinner, we had to go out.

Great staff, facilities, food, rooms, and views

Nothing

Einzigartig und unvergesslich

Alles perfekt

The restaurant sells good food, the room is big anough , great views and the pool is very nice. The horizon restaurant staff was very pleasant, Amy gave us great service, the chef and the manager were amazing.

The housekeeping staff really need to be supervised more closely. Every day, we had to request basic items after they had already serviced our room, such as water and fresh towels. What was more disappointing was that the room was not actually being cleaned. They would simply make the bed and leave without cleaning the bathroom or other areas. The shower pressure was also very poor, and because of the way the shower is designed, it requires a bit of cleaning after use. Unfortunately, this was consistently overlooked, and we ended up cleaning it ourselves. While we were able to do this, it really shouldn’t be necessary when you’re on vacation. At the very least, we expected to return to a properly cleaned room each day. At one point, our room key cards also stopped working, and the hotel had to call a technician to repair the door lock. We had to wait outside while they opened the door, and once it was unlocked, we were left waiting with the door wide open while around five people worked on fixing it. It was quite inconvenient and not a very pleasant experience, especially while trying to enjoy our stay.
