Everything! The staff are very welcoming, friendly and accommodating and will go the extra mile - I needed an early breakfast so that I could be at work on time, so the evening staff rang the chef who then came in early! Food is absolutely amazing and so is the chef. Everything is cooked to perfection, breakfast and evening meal. The room was lovely with everything that I needed. Well furnished and an extremely comfy bed

The English breakfasts were exceptional, however the healthier alternatives were inadequate. No fruit nor yoghurt, muesli or granola, so not really good value.

Upon arrival we were met with a warm welcome, there were 2 lovely ladies who explained how everything worked. We found the staff delightful throughout and met the owner a couple of times who was also very amiable. The breakfast was amazing! We got what we ordered and the lady who greeted us (Theresa I think) was wonderful and couldn't do enough to make us comfortable. A very homely place to stay and ideally located for exploring Norfolk.

Although the room could have done with a couple of repairs, it was very comfortable and great to come back to after a day out walking. The bath was an added bonus. You had an excellent selection of teas/coffees to choose from too. The shower could have done with a new head and it dripped onto the end of the bath, so unfortunately I couldn't lay back to relax without getting dripped on. Couldn't hear the drip whilst sleeping though. We ate in the restaurant on the last evening. It was a Wednesday so we took advantage of the £12 main meal offer. I had the fish and chips, it was excellent but they forgot the peas. After a while they still hadn't arrived (or the requested vinegar) so made do without. My partner had the rump steak. Sadly it was returned as too sinewy to cut through. They replaced the meal though for the belly pork without question. The wine was superb quality. We did have a drink before the meal and paid cash on ordering. Then when paying for the meal itself it had then been added onto the bill again. A refund was given without question, but this shouldn't have happened.

The property needs an update looks very tired the bathroom had flacking paint in one corner.
