Breakfast, staff, friendly receptionist nothing was too much trouble for her (thank you). The peace and quiet. I felt safe

No bath - shower was amazing but Im a bath girl - but then you cant have everything

Its location. Gluten free menu. Some friendly staff

No receptionist when we arrived. Got the key from the bar. Walked up to the room with cases and door card didn’t work. Walked back down to the bar. Female came back with me to get another card, which also didn’t work (room 26) She came back with another key for a different room. 1st Eve meal was excellent. 2nd Eve meal was cold not the same. Breakfast orders mainly wrong. Both got beans when we didn’t order any. Only cow milk on offer. Not sure about gluten free continental options. One waiter was excellent and one didn’t pay any attention to detail. I was brought microwaved gluten free bread, instead of toast. Cobwebs on the lamp shades in the restaurant near the Hampshire suite. Bed was very uncomfortable. Asked for a softer pillow (answer was no) Asked housekeeping if there was a fridge for my soya milk (answer no, suggested asking the kitchen) dirty & dusty fan in the wardrobe, hence a black t-shirt covered in dust. Dust at side of tea tray. Remote control one day in the corner of the room (it was left on the bed side table) tea pot not washed up, tea still inside it, so I left it with the lid off & teaspoon inside. Toilet roll not always left. Ordered gluten free nachos for a snack on the last evening. It arrived with no guacamole and stale. I asked why the waitress hadn’t said anything when she brought it. She said we could have extra sour cream. Even the waiter that took the order knew that there was no guacamole that day and hadn’t said anything. So not much else for a gluten free snack. The order was refunded.
