If you are looking for a cheap place to stay in the walled city with very basic surroundings and no ocean view. But just a simple clean room. That is safe and económico. In this place is outstanding. The staff was excellent and the room was comfortable in. Cool, but it does not have the amenities that some of your fancy places have, although there are plenty of restaurants nearby, but they do charge tourist prices in this area.
For me, I just felt a little bit cramped and I would’ve liked to have had a little bit more relaxed Experience, without being feeling like I was enclosed, but saying that I must say it was an excellent value and very friendly and nice and safe

After moving to the "Deluxe" apartment, the space was generous, kitchen facilities were good. Great location within the old town. And importantly the air was clean and there were windows.
The standard apartments (all?) seem to be inward facing so no natural daylight or air, resulting in damp etc. To be fair having walked around the old town, it's clear that this is a challenge with many or most of the buildings there with the humidity and heat etc. The check is not smooth as you are just talking with building security (for a mixed use building) and not a dedicated checkin. You also are supposed to wear an armband for your entire stay. I took this off almost immediately as it was uncomfortable, and was never asked to show it.

Location, space and useful accessories
I guess it resembles no pattern but it was the worst checkin experience throughout my Colombia vacation, starting with not answering simple questions 24 hours to arrival. It took 45 minutes to complete the process; too much after an exhausting travel to Cartagena

Great location, just outside of the bustle. The bed and couch were comfortable. The place felt secure. Good AC.
The window in the bedroom wasn’t actually a window - it was a photo of Cartagena. This was fine but cheeky.
The kitchen only had one small pan, one small pot, 3 sets of cutlery, 3 sets of plates and bowls and mugs oh and a blender of course. There are no cooking utensils at all or bin, and no basics like oil or salt.
There was also a lot of different noises during the day, a new one almost every day. This included construction above, people from offices in the hallway stepping out into the hallway to chat on the phone. Fortunately it wasn’t that close to pubs etc
