Very nice property. Good location with nice uncrowded beach. The house is very clean and well equipped. The owner, Ryan was helpful and easy to deal with. We had a great vacation with our our three kids, spouses and grandkids.

Family of 13 ranging in age from 6 months to 92. Plus 2 dogs. We enjoyed walks on the beach, paddle boarding, cooking, eating, and relaxing as an extended family. Could not have asked for a better location and house!

Our family of siblings and mom go on a trip every year with our kids. This was our first time staying in Delaware and absolutely loved the area. Being right near the beach was perfect for the kids! Even though we had a couple of days of very strong winds and rain it was a great trip. There is lots to do in the area and lots of games in the house to keep everyone occupied. Ryan was very nice and checked on us during the highest wind day and gave suggestions of local inside activities.

I can honestly say this is the first time a rental property has met and exceeded its photos and listing description! The views are stunning. The furnishings are classic and comfortable. The kitchen was equipped. The tech in the house was reliable and easy to navigate. The owner was extremely responsive to our questions. My kids and I are already dreaming up an excuse to book another getaway! Thanks for sharing your home!

Ryan was so involved in helping us settle in for our birthday celebration. That helped make our stay even better. Thank you Ryan! His house is spectacular. Totally equipped. Wine fridge, decks on every level, wonderful gas fireplaces, beach gear galore. The kids loved the arcade! When asked about their favorite part of the weekend they responded with “the arcade”.
The weather prevented us from getting the available water craft out but it was cool that they were available.
The weekend ended with having a bonfire on the beach! I’d recommend this house for anyone who wants to stay in a beautiful house on a wild natural beach.

If you’re looking for a beautifully decorated ocean front house that offers amenities and activities for toddlers, teens parents and grandparents this is your place. Spectacular sunrise/sunset views and miles of empty beaches to walk or run where the only sounds u hear are the ocean. We stayed during a cold stretch of time in Dec and I thoroughly enjoyed a daily swim in the frigid ocean followed by a hot sauna in the home’s spa like sauna. The owners went above and beyond what i ever wldve in making sure our family and friends enjoyed a wonderful experience from start to finish. No better way to enjoy the Holidays and ring in the New Year!

This was easily the nicest beach house I've stay at. The pictures don't do it justice. If you are considering staying here, just book it. You will have no regrets.

Wonderful experience
Everything about this property was amazing with one exception, the flies. We happened to pick the week they were bad but it didn't stop us from enjoying our vacation. The house was perfect for the nine of us from the kitchen to the bedrooms to the decks on all floors. We would definitely go back!! Thank you Ryan for an amazing week!

"Paradise" sums it up
This was a fantastic vrbo experience. The online description doesn't begin to capture the house, amenities, and beach experience. Tastefully and thoughtfully appointed and very comfortable for our party of 7 adults and one infant (without our using the bunk room, which has two sets of twin bunks). A well stocked kitchen allowed for lots of cooking and eating at the huge table on the porch (with ocean view). Decks galore! Access to the kayaks and paddle boards under the deck was a plus. We didn't use the sail boats as we didn't discover all the life preservers in the store room near the front door, so don't be dumb like us! Also don't forget about the dumb waiter (in kitchen) until you've lugged all of your stuff upstairs like we did! Ryan and Angela provided helpful information and instructions, and Ryan was easy to reach when we lost track of the access code. We would have booked again immediately if we weren't getting ready to move accross the country.

Incredible vacation property
Stayed for a week with my extended family, 14 people total. Definitely enough space for the 8 adults and 6 kids and a dog.
The house is very clean and modern and literally right on the beach, which is basically a private beach with just you and the neighboring houses.
Short drive into a couple smaller towns for supplies and evenings out but primarily we stayed on the beach.
The water was as warm as the Caribbean,. Probably 85 degrees and calm.
Would definitely love to stay again someday.

Return to Paradise
We were so fortunate to return to Piper's Paradise this year. While some rentals quickly show wear-and-tear, we noticed none of this at Piper's Paradise. In fact, the home and amenities were amazingly well-kept, clean, and inviting -- if possible, even better than last year.
Quiet mornings began with a book and a mug of coffee on the deck, listening to the waves and the birds. Paddle boarding, kayaking and long beach walks filled our days but our favorite time of day was coming together for family dinners at the beautiful long dining table, then watching the sunset from one of the decks.
We thoroughly enjoyed this return trip and hope to return again soon! Thanks again to the owners of Piper's Paradise for sharing their slice of heaven with us.

This is a really great house. It was big for us (we booked because of timing and location) but this house is great for extended families looking to vacation together. It’s the first vacation rental we’ve been in that we didn’t say “can you believe this house is advertised to fit X number of people?”. This house will fit the number of people the description says it will and will do so luxuriously. There’s three covered outdoor decks and the rooms are all large and comfortably decked out. There’s plenty of room for everyone to sprawl out if they want and great areas to gather in when they want that too. The house was super clean and we appreciated certain details like the nice mattress in the top, beachfront bedroom. We sleep on an expensive latex mattress at home and this is the first time we’ve slept on a mattress that was comparably comfortable while away. Broadkill Beach is a beautiful, quiet beach which is also great for family vacations. We really enjoyed our stay at this property!!!!

Great Weekend
We loved our stay at Piper's Paradise. The house was just as described and beautiful. The beach was peaceful with calm waters and we walked for miles. There are a lot of stairs in the house, so not for someone who has trouble with stairs. The outdoor sauna was a nice touch and we used it several times, what a great way to relax and detox. We would highly recommend this house.

Piper's Paradise for real
Our family of grandparents, adult children and grandchildren loved the time we spent over New Year's weekend at Piper's Paradise. The house is just as pictured and advertised. We cooked all meals in their impressive kitchen, did our own version of a polar bear plunge in the bay,42 degree water and quick run to the sauna to warm up. Our 8 year old grandson went to bed saying how tired he was but how much fun he had that day. Words a grandparent loves to hear. Would love to try this place again another time of year.

Great house for large group
We had a great time here. Ryan is an excellent host. There’s plenty of room for everybody to spread out. We also really liked that there are so many bathrooms for everybody to use and we really enjoyed that there was an outdoor shower as well. Being on the bay was amazing. Everybody took advantage of the kayaks and warm water inAugust. We had no issues with flies on the beach. We were there the first week of August. We also made a bonfire every night. His house is in a remote location but we were able to get a grocery delivery. Rehobeth was about an hour away with traffic. We did go to Ocean City Maryland which was about an hour and a half with traffic.
I would absolutely recommend this house to anybody and we hope to return next year.

Well-maintained, super clean, and as many other reviewers have noted --well-stocked. Ryan didn’t skimp on beach equipment, right down to the beach cart. Kitchen equipped and stocked to accommodate a full household. Overall, this property feels more like a 2nd home, not a mere rental. Will also add.. all of the porches were pleasant, but one of our favorite places to roost was the top front porch. We had scorching, hot days in the 90’s and we always felt a good breeze there. Piper’s is also one of the few houses on Broadkill Beach that offers several covered porches. Even in torrential rains we could enjoy the outdoors. Panoramic view from 2nd floor open living area was splendid.

Loved our stay at Piper's Paradise!
We had a wonderful time at Piper's Paradise! The house was beautiful and was located a quick drive from Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge, Cape Henlopen, and loads of restaurants in Rehoboth and Lewes. We appreciated the many thoughtful items left by the host, like beach chairs, kayaks, and binoculars, and we loved relaxing in the family room and on the many porches. The beach was easily accessed and ideal for long walks. The host responded to my questions quickly and was very helpful when an issue arose with my rented linens. We loved using the sauna at the end of the day, and can't wait to return to Piper's Paradise!
