Everything was perfect for us from arrival to departure and everything in between - warm welcome, beautiful bar and overall setting humorously and stylishly celebrating the building’s banking heritage. Also, the room service staff who went above and beyond with personality and joy to make this birthday trip very special and help us celebrate. The sauna and steam room are a beautiful respite after a long day walking around the city and the quiet bedrooms are perfect too, yet still central and walkable to all the main sights and lively cafes and restaurants. 10/10z

The location and the way an old bank was turned into a hotel are the best things about the place.

For a 5 star hotel one would expect when opening the mini bar to find a various selection of things in there, taken into consideration the fact that at check in they block an amount of 200 euro as deposit for the room…Well, this hotel has a strange policy to keep the mini bar empty and you have to call the room service if you really want something. I mean seriously ?! A 5 star hotel in Europe in 2026? Anyways, it is the hotel policy…I try to understand it but the even bigger issue was that I called the 24/7 room service twice on Friday night and no answer…after calling the front desk they connected me with the room service …when they arrived with the order (one chocolate bar) the person who brought it seemed bothered by the fact he had to work at that hour… The front desk said they would set the mini bar for my room given the fact that I complained about this situation but in the following day, the very same thing, still empty… I wanted to order something from the restaurant, no answer from the 24/7 room service at 6 p.m. in the afternoon…and I had to call again the front desk 2 times and wait again to be connected with the room service. I told them at check out about all these deficiencies and that young lady doing the check out couldn’t say anything more than repeating two times in a row “I am sorry about that!”

The air conditioning wasn’t working properly and needed a filter change, and both the room and hallways had a strange chemical smell, while the bathroom smelled like sewage—fine for one night, but I definitely wouldn’t stay any longer.
