Especially loved her dogs and occasionally saw the kitties. Loved her grounds and how you could sit on a hammock or sit on some chairs and enjoy the peace and quiet. The owners knew probably at least four languages and very good English skills. They were knowledgeable about the region. I liked how they chatted a little about their lives, very interesting! They actually lived on the property however, you would never know it and their breakfast was very nice. You do need a car to visit this place for access to Rovinj.

Me and my partner spent four nights at Farmhouse Cubani and we loved every moment. The breakfast was excellent (especially the homemade marmelades!), and the hosts Alan and Nolette are really kind and welcoming; their lovely dogs then added an extra touch of charm. The location is fantastic: peaceful and relaxing, away from the buzz of the city (just a short drive from Rovinj) yet close to beautiful Istrian beaches. A truly calming stay in a super setting.

The farm house located 3 kilometers from Bale medieval town.
We stayed in room 2; the bed is very comfortable, there is a good size bathroom inside the room. The room was on second floor, and we had a sea view from the window. The host and hostess are wonderful, fifth generation of farmers. The breakfast was amazing the best in Slovenia and Croatia.
There is nothing not too like.

The atmosphere, the owners - for their good vibes, kindness (and their cats and dogs), the breakfast, the room…. The fact that the house is hidden and in an absolute calm with sunset. Special mention to the home made breakfast which is a food feast! 🫠
