S&A Vondel Park Hotel

Proximity to main attractions. Delicious scrambled eggs!

The location is perfect, right near to the wonderful Vondel park, the Rijeksmuseum and Van Gogh museum. The hotel has someone at the reception 24/7, and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. The room was big enough, and the bed was very comfortable.

The cleanliness of the bathroom was upsetting, something nasty was clogging the sink, the sink itself was yellow and dirty. And the shower floor seemed dirty as well. The toilet was clean.

Friendly staff, great location, comfortable bed. The hotel is close to Vondelpark and the museums and a short walk to the canal district.

Super tiny room (and we had the Superior Double!) a divided bathroom with toilet on one side of the room and shower/sink on the opposite end, both with a slight step up from the main room made things awkward to use in the daytime, and treacherous to use in the middle of the night. Also was annoyed at the inconsistency of the free coffee in the lobby Several of the days it was a lovely espresso, one day there was no one there at all and on our last day the receptionist said it wasn't available to us.

They was no AC and the manager did not handle my concerns appropriately. The front office staff were great!

Bad customer service with manager and no AC. I was traveling with an elderly woman and the lack of AC made it very difficult to sleep.
