Loved our stay, great location and wonderful communication with Jess. We will definitely stay here again!

The cottage was so nice and clean. We had everything we needed. It was great being right on the beach. Perfectly situated to watch 4th of July fireworks from the porch and watch the rest of the group hanging out on the beach. The house has a spacious living and dining area for everyone to congregate. The beds were comfortable . It was also nice having 3 bathrooms. We had a wonderful time and I would definitely stay here again.

Very cute place and easy access to the beach. It’s just close enough to see the water when you wake up, but far enough away you’re not too exposed to the night life

I have mixed feelings about this VRBO stay. The property itself was lovely, and the location was incredible — practically beachfront and exactly what we were hoping for. Unfortunately, the positives were overshadowed by poor hosting.For a vacation rental at this price point, the lack of basic amenities was surprising. There were no condiments, limited toilet paper, no extra paper towels, no dish towels, insufficient trash bags, and none of the small touches that make rentals feel welcoming, such as games or thoughtful extras. The towels and linens were also underwhelming and felt well below expectations.Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was the host. Communication was consistently poor from beginning to end. Simple questions required multiple texts and phone calls before we received any response at all, leaving us feeling ignored rather than valued as paying guests. When we did manage to reach the host by phone, the interaction was unexpectedly passive-aggressive and dismissive, making us feel as though our questions and concerns were inconveniences instead of a normal part of hospitality.Owning a beautiful property is only half of the equation; being a responsive, gracious host is equally important. In this case, the host’s attitude and lack of communication significantly detracted from what otherwise could have been an exceptional stay. Guests shouldn’t have to repeatedly chase down a host for assistance or feel uncomfortable asking reasonable questions.
