Me gusto el servicio de desayuno, muy completo para todos los gustos, en cuanto a la habitación, está bastante bien, estuvimos 4 personas y nos la pasamos bien.

El precio de la comida y las bebidas si es un poco elevado, consideraría que eso es el único punto a mejorar.

Nestled right in the heart of a lush forest, Shana Hotel offers a truly incredible experience. You might even find Capuchin monkeys paying a visit to your balcony – that's how close you are to nature! The hotel itself is a gem; from the mouthwatering food to the delightful staff always ready to assist, everything is simply fantastic. You will have the chance to explore the small, tranquil beach just a 5 minute walk away. The forest path is a bit inclined, but the beach makes it worthwhile. Once there, indulge in activities like kayaking and snorkeling – it's truly an awesome experience. The rooms at Shana Hotel are exceptionally spacious, providing extraordinary views of the sea. Not only that, but the entire facility is impeccably clean and well-maintained. I am definitely planning to return to Shana Hotel on my next visit to Manuel Antonio. :)

Atendimento impecável, funcionários atenciosos. Hotel com um visual incrível , cercado por natureza. A praia do hotel é maravilhosa, acesso por uma trilha curta. Água quentinha, pouca gente.

Para mim não foi um problema, mas se você tem dificuldade de locomoção, não é o hotel ideal, principalmente para quem quer aproveitar a praia, pois tem muitas subidas.

Es la segunda vez que fui al hotel, en esta oportunidad tuve una mejor habitación, me gustó mucho. El restaurante es muy bueno y la atención es muy amable

Interesting architectural decision to make sure the hotel naturally aligns with landscape and nature. Tropical garden around the property allows to enjoy wildlife right at your fingertips (monkeys come to your balcony): variety of birds, tropical crabs, monkeys, and iguanas. Private beach is beautiful and great for all ages. Rooms are spacious and stylish; we stayed in family suite and the ceiling impressed us - it’s about 10ft tall. Amazing. Great location and extremely helpful staff in addition to above stated benefits. Definitely don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy this great and friendly hotel.

We liked everything, it’s charming

The room was spacious and had a great view, it was especially good for the price. It has a direct entrance to a beautiful beach in Manuel Antonio. Additionally, the breakfast buffet was great and had a wide variety of options.

Bathroom a little small for the size of the room

This is a stunning hotel in a stunning location. The rooms were very large with large bathrooms. There was a good full sized fridge in the room. The breakfast was really good and fresh. The pools, especially the infinity pool, were beautiful and were positioned to take advantage of the amazing view. The location was perfect for Manuel Antonio Nationall Park, it took under 10 minutes to get there. Quepos was a 15 minute drive. Would recommend.

Some of the furnishings in the room were a little tired, no tissues, no kettle in room, no slippers or robes

The hotel is amazing. It has beautiful beach access. The food is very good and the staff is the best. The staff at the breakfast is so helpful. Jairo takes you up and down within the resort. The views from the pool and restaurant are amazing.

The property is beautiful, clean, and staff very cordial and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and our room was perfect. Amazing view of the sunsets.

We would have loved screen sliding doors so we could sleep with the doors open at night. We love the sound of nature in Costa Rica.

Property itself was beautiful & surrounded by lush jungle and a variety of animal sightings. The breakfast was plentiful and most of the staff was kind.

Meal selections seemed limited and didn’t include many Costa Rican options, lots of pizza, pasta and Japanese options. Hotel is not located nearby anything and is way up in the mountains making beach, stores or restaurant access difficult for those traveling without a car. Property is on steep hill making it a challenge to get from one place to the other for elderly or disabled but the staff will come get you in a golf cart. Hotel rooms were lacking basic amenities let alone things I would expect from a nicer resort. no usb plugs, no additional hooks or towel racks for swimsuits or towels to hang to dry, and office only has a small selection of items to buy which did not include charging cubes for usb. many of the staff appeared to speak English but didn’t actually understand or speak English, just the common phrases that made you believe they did which caused problems when ordering food or drinks because you think they understand and if you knew they didn’t you could use google translate or explain in Spanish. Many times we were ignored by the waitstaff when wanting to order food or drinks, one night we waited over 40 minutes just to place our order and that was after we hunted down the staff. Overall it wasn’t a bad stay but it isn’t not as a property as they appear.

The gardens are lush and beautiful, The view out to the oceans lovely. The staff are friendly and helpful. The pool is warm and happy hour is nice!

Our original room was in the lower ground floor and faced out to bushes. We had bedbugs the first night and were then transferred to another room which was far superior, thanks to the kind and thoughtful staff in reception.

The property is gorgeous, great restaurant, pools and amenities. The rooms are nice as well and very comfortable.

There was a bit of a mix up with our room. on booking it said it would have a private pool and a private entrance. you would think that would actually mean private, however these rooms (there are 3 of them 227, 228, 229) all share a common entrance and 2 of them share a common pool (228 which is what the originally gave us). They were only able to move us to one of the rooms 227 that had a private pool but still shared a common entrance and area with the other three rooms. thankfully no one stayed in those during our 2 nights stay, however we felt the wording on the listing was misleading and the staff wasn’t able to make much accommodation. My husband also had issues with one of the staff members that he saw looking over into our patio. not sure his name but it made my husband uncomfortable.

Gorgeous property with stunning views of the ocean. Staff were incredibly helpful and always so nice to us during our stay. Everything was right there… a great pool for the family, access to the beach, a restaurant that serves delicious food, and a bar. We had a great experience here and would highly recommend.

It is built on a hill, which can be killer to walk. However, staff drive up and down the hill pretty regularly in golf carts and offer to pick you up.

The hotel is beautiful, staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The pools were clean, they have access to a nice, calm beach (only 10 minutes walk through the forest). The restaurant is exceptional, they even have a wood fired oven for the pizza.The breakfast is fantastic (buffet style, the best we had during our stay in Costa Rica). We were lucky enough to see a sloth in the tree next to the pools, he just moved in, and stayed there for at least 3 days. We also saw scarlet macaws and toucans daily from the pool. Highly recommended.

It is a bit far from the town centre in a narrow curly road, not walking distance.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, honestly great hospitality. The rooms were very comfortable and a good size, but I think the best part was the pool(s); there was so much wildlife to see just hanging around in the pool for a 15 minutes. We thought some of the other reviews were exaggerating but they were all true!

The monkeys stole my bikini from our balcony. Luckily one part ended up on the airconditioning unit below us, which a staff member retrieved for us, and the other part, when inquiring at reception, had been found in the grass below by housekeeping and was returned to our hotel room. So basically beware the cheeky monkeys!
