The staff were amazing

I didn’t think the pool was that great, the swim up bar was quite dirty and the staff seemed very hot. It was 44 degrees and only had fans

It meets our expectations for a five-star hotel. Check-in staff, Meryem, was warm and welcoming. Room 233 was impeccably clean and this particular feature matters most to me. The amenities were perfect. They have high-end toiletries, plush bedding, perfect crockery and cutlery in the room. The sea view was perfect. The housekeeping staff, Jezham (I am not sure if I got the spelling right), was helpful, efficient, professional and attentive to our needs. The dining staff service was another highlight; we enjoyed the complimentary birthday cake given to my husband at Moswem and even sang the “song”. Such a delightful surprise! The staff namely, Annabel, Kushal, and Dumindi were very accommodating and made us feel like a family.

Our request for adjacent rooms or at least rooms that are closed to each other was not approved, instead we were placed very far from each other. It was such a disappointment! Room 234 (my daughter’s room) had a slightly foul smell but at least it was visibly clean. One of the wine glasses smelt slightly off too. The housekeeping service was a bit slow but not bad. The meals were average and fall short compared to other five-star hotels we've previously visited during our travels. My daughter loves scrambled eggs but made a pass after looking at theirs; it was overly wet and looked discouraging to eat. Even four stars hotel has better scrambled eggs.

Most restaurants and bars were closed in the hotel. Beds were very hard Shower leaked From 2am onwards outside our room on the main road became a race track for several hours. Food and drink very expensive. Towels left on sunbed all day long and noone on them. Cheap to pay for the hotel but when you got there the food and drink was average and extortionate. A pint was over £10 for instance Average bar food expensive Coke can over £5. Plus your room tax and travel tax They repeated asking us to put money on the room with a credit card despite us getting over £500 and decided to just pay as we go
