Great location, laundry available, nice kitchen, very clean.

Slight mildew on caulking in shower.

Very comfortable, sea view from my room. Quiet, secure. Exceptionally clean bedding, towels, bathrooms, all the shared spaces, everywhere. Staff very helpful and informative. Lots of information available about things to do locally. Fun retro vibe in furnishings and fittings. Fantastic provision of coffees including real coffee, teas, breakfast items all included. And full use of well appointed kitchen, with various free food items too. The dining room and sitting room are perfect places to work if you want to get outside your room,. You can be as private or as sociable as you like in the shared areas. Lovely, restful stay. Perfect location, seconds from the shops, a few min it es stroll to the beach and a few minutes walk to the station with direct trains to Edinburgh Waverley plus local trains.

I was on a 3 week road trip around Scotland with a friend and out of all the places we stayed Dolphin Inn was the best. Just super cute, friendly staff, has everything you need in the kitchen, even free food from guests leaving it behind, new kitchenware, just incredible. I kept saying I wanna stay there forever.

A lot of love and thought put into the decor and fixtures, which were quirky, fun and thoughtful. LOVED the fish tank old TV. One of the female members of staff was really lovely and helpful, I cannot recall her name. 10 out of 10 for customer service from her.

Mattresses were very hard. Ended up buying extras to make sleeping work. One member of staff was very rude and there was lot of defensiveness over mattresses, which was entirely unnecessary.
