Great cottages and very clean. Peaceful. Nowhere to far for great walks.

This was a delightful cottage set in absolute peace and quiet. The cottage was immaculate in every way and the welcome pack that Sarah (the owner) left was very welcome. The cottage was within a 15min walk to the local pub but there are no nearby shops. A car is essential. The approach is down some very narrow lanes and it can be awkward if any oncoming vehicles are encountered. The traffic however, is almost non-existent so that was not a major problem. The beauty of the cottage is its complete tranquility. We had a lovely break and would not hesitate to recommend Rose Cottage.

For us, Rose Cottage was the perfect holiday cottage. We particularly appreciated the welcome pack and the comfortable space to relax and watch the garden birds, as well as the television to watch the Olympics. We picked a different small town to explore each day and enjoyed a wonderful week of old churches, walks, gardens, reading and relaxing. We would happily return.

A lovely bungalow with everything you need for a relaxing break. Great welcome pack. Extremely clean and great bath. Bed very comfortable and lovely garden. Bit of a narrow lane to get there.
