Lovely comfy room and good breakfast included, plus great food and drink recommendations from the hotel staff.

Wasn't very clear from the hotel description that the parking wasn't nearby, would be good to specify that since parking is advertised.

The best breakfast in a long time, everyone working in the hotel is nice and friendly with me and my dogs, i highly rate this hotel 5 ⭐.

Folks were super-friendly, the room was really clean, the place was affordable, the shower felt wonderful, and the location was dead-center in the middle of one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited!

I am basing the rating and comments on the price paid - over 200EUR for 1 night I was expecting a lot, plus the rating on booking.com was 9.6. I would not have expected the following: - Check in/out - no staff available before 3pm and 10am......really? - Restaurant opens in the evening on the top floor to the public - so you have people chatting outside your door until 11pm as they walk up. - Aircon wasnt powerful, hot room all night - Breakfast was terrible - vegetable omlette with stones (not even grit.....veg not washed properly) put me off completely....and staff members chatting to each other (clearly about guests) made us uncomfortable - Parking was awful - I know it is not the fault of the hotel, but getting yelled at by locals in the multi story is a good start to the visit (peak season know). EDIT - I received a quite aggressive and sinister response from the hotel asking that I reconsider my rating....rather than reaching out for my feedback which I would have expected. My response to the manager: "I dont take the review I submitted lightly. Plus, as you will no doubt see, I travel a great deal and therefore I know what to expect from a hotel with your rating and price paid. I will not be changing the score as your responses do not provide any additional insight - I also do not appreciate the pressure to do so, Reviews like this are to be expected and are part of the business model - I suggest you use it constructively." I will not be bullied on this, shame on you.
