fav HIROSHIMA STADIUM

The location was exceptional, a few min from the ballpark, the train station, bus stop, etc. fabulous! Nice bars, restaurants and kombini close to the property, fantastic.

It was not completely clean, at first view, it looks great, however, there was too much dust on the bed headers, the lamps, even the toilet on the little stand above the toilet paper. Considering the overall look of the facility, I personally believe that these small details could be taking care of in the future

Beds were very comfortable. Room and amenities were clean. Well located with easy access to the station.

The room was probably the nicest one of all six hotels we stayed at during our trip - we couldn't believe the space and facilities when we entered. We really liked there was a key code you entered to get in the room/building, rather than using a physical card. There was a washing machine in our room, which was a massive bonus. There wasn't any extra facilities like we've had at other hotels (e.g. free onsens, free drinks, etc) but the room was really lovely & spacious - definitely worth the stay. The location was a bit further out from the main tourist spots (Hiroshima museum, peace dome, etc) but was still accessible with busses/trams - and was only 10min walk from the train station. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was lovely, and the lighting was really cosy. The coffee you can buy at reception was tasty too. There was also a kitchenette in our room, with plates/microwave etc.

The staff who checked us in and out were very blunt/rude, and treated us like we were inconveniencing them by being there. There wasn't anything to wash the stuff up in the kitchen, so you either had to go buy sponges & washing up liquid (not worth it for a three night stay), or just let the dirty dishes/cutlery pile up - which seemed odd to offer kitchen stuff but no way to clean it. It was also pretty noisy there; we were on the top floor but could still hear multiple sirens (presumably ambulances) going past every night (to the point we thought maybe there was a hospital nearby) - and also, I think it was a clock tower, but something kept chiming outside every hour or so in the morning/day, which was annoying when you're jet-lagged and desperate for sleep - but decent ear-plugs solves that issue. The staff being so unfriendly was the only thing that actually let the place down, as this was such an impressive hotel otherwise - and every other person we met in Hiroshima were the loveliest people.

Very clean, brand new rooms with everything we needed. It was very spacious, even for us as a Family of 5, there was more than enough space! The kitchen was well equipped for heating up street food left overs or eating breakfast. The washing machine was very helpful- and even if it was all in japanese, with a translation foto tool on the cellphone very easy to use. Even the detergent was provided! We had initially a problem to get into the room as it is with a keypad next to the door and not a roomcard- and a few digits of our keypad didnt react very well, but after trying a few times and to press a little more, it finally worked. The location is very close to the train station, which makes it great for sightseeing.

It would have helped us if lugguage transport such as Yamato would have been accepted by the hotel. I just figured this out after booking - while travelling we always used Yamato and were very disappointed that we could not send our lugguage to or from the hotel!
