Ollen apartments

We loved everything about our stay, which was a last minute booking for the last night of our three week tour of Sicily. It happened to be one of the best places we stayed in. A lovely welcome, a really well appointed, spacious, spotlessly clean room with great facilities including a huge balcony. We enjoyed our last afternoon relaxing round the pool and soaking up the last of our Sicilian sunshine (for this year anyway) and the surprise welcome drink was such a great touch. The staff were without exception friendly, welcoming and professional. Didn’t catch the name of the young woman who made our Negronis but for a first attempt, they were spot on. Great parking and very reasonably priced (we paid more than double in Trapani). Oh and the breakfast; fantastic choices and freshly cooked eggs were much appreciated and that cheesecake!! If we return to Catania, we would definitely stay here again.

Nothing really, other than some basic kitchen supplies eg dish cloth, washing up liquid, salt, pepper and olive oil would be a nice touch, even at a small supplement. We had much of our own as we’d been travelling around.

Very well appointed Clean hotel with small pool and hot tub. Staff is friendly, helpful and warm. This is great for a one or two nights stay at the beginning or end of your journey. Room was efficient and just big enough for three people or if you have two adults and two kids. My husband compared the facility to a courtyard Marriott, but with a little bit more heart and soul :) . Food at hotel restaurant was great as we ate there our last night -chef was amazing and also the breakfast the next morning seemed plentiful.!

Could be tricky getting into the center of Catania without a car as it is a bit far -you are also in a regular neighborhood with just a view of other homes or buildings , so not super inspiring but again great for one or two nights as a homebase.

Bei unserer Ankunft im Hotel gab es ein kleines Problem mit unserem Zimmer. Wir gingen sofort nach unten, um nach dem Mitarbeiter zu suchen. Dort trafen wir auf Felice, einen sehr hilfsbereiten jungen Mann mit überaus höflicher und professioneller Art. In weniger als zehn Minuten checkte er uns ein und löste das Problem. Er brachte uns umgehend kostenlose Begrüßungsgetränke aufs Zimmer. Er verwöhnte uns mit einfachen, aber köstlichen Mittagessen. Mit einzigartiger Professionalität mixte er uns spektakuläre Cocktails am Pool. Und als ob das nicht schon genug wäre, spricht er auch noch perfekt Deutsch, was heutzutage selten ist. Die Anlage ist hervorragend und es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt. Wir werden das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank, Felice, du bist wirklich ein ganz besonderer Mensch! Alles Gute!

The staff was really welcoming and helpful. Alessio went the extra mile to accomodate our requests and showed us around. The room was very spacious (2 rooms with a kitchenette) and nice views from the terrace. The room was clean and comfortable. Comfy beds and pillows. The swimming pool is very nice as was the area around the pool. The gym and spa facilities were also very nice. All looks nice, clean and new. Dinner was also good (good variety of pasta and salads). It is only 20 min from the airport but very quiet at night.
