We foond ourselves with a blown engine in our pickup truck the mechanic was 75 miles from home he needed five days to swap engines so we booked the double tree 3 weeks before 2 weeks before my wife rang with a list of questions I'm in a wheelchair so is it accessible and such and how much hold do they take she rang a week before to double check again we got Albert he assured us we left the ranch at 10am to head in we rang to ask how early could we check in Albert again assured us now our six night was split into a one night booking and a five night booking we were assured they had changed it on the computer to be one room one $100 hold so we checked in Sunday Monday we were awoken by house keeping asking when we're we checking out we went to the front desk we were told it was two bookings two different rooms two $100 holds and everything Albert the front desk manager told us was a lie So after that that night we went to the bar we ran up a $70 tab and charged it to the room we wrote our room number on the bill and signed which should come out of out of our $100 hold upon check out they took it out of our checking account it was one mistake after another the plumbing didn't work we rang four times it took three days to half fix the tv never worked we rang four times they didn't send anybody till the last night and it didn't work on the second night we informed them the following day we'd be at the pool from 12-3pm could they clean the room they didnt

Staff was great and like that hotel is clean. Wish the breakfast went later than 9:00 but everything else with hotel felt safe and bar/wait staff was great.

First, this company should state, this hotel literally is next to a freeway entrance. Loud as all get up. Second, the fire alarm was running for over 30 minutes, before someone decided to turn it off. I called Hotels.com to complain and all I got was the run around. Never again!!

Lovely very large rooms

I have been to Bakerfield before, it was dusty, windy and rainy. My first time at Double Tree Hilton. The price was good, I got to check in early. The check in process was quick but it was a line (4 people ahead of me) when I got there. The hotel is nice, big, and four floors. My room was around back, I was on the pool side also which was okay. I was thankful because I got early check in. The entire stay was okay, room was okay and clean. The bed was not comfortable to me, seemed worn out and squeaky. Then around 2am someone was fighting for at least an hour; it was loud and alarming. But after while it stopped, I also think local stay in hotels and party, I heard from an employee ay another hotel. I did get cookies. I'll probably go back and stay on fourth floor ..

When I checked in after a long drive, after standing in line for a long period I was given a room. My wife and I grabbed our luggage and went to our room. When we entered, the room was still occupied! I suitcase, backpack, other personal items as well as the bed unmade and tv on! Breach of security which is unacceptable! We had to go all the way back, inform the front desk of the situation! We were issued another room completely on the other side of the hotel which was very exhausting. I was not offered any type of compensation for our troubles so I will no longer stay at the Doubletree! My family lives in Bakersfield so I visit often so I will use another hotel. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Thank you, Arthur Reynoso.

Great stay, room lovely , balcony but no furniture so no point, is this an American suing issue that’s took the fun out of everything ? Unable to have a bath ….is this a drowning American suing thing ?

Nice and clean but bed was uncomfortable
