Bad service first no one at the front desk for at least 15 minutes. Then i had to go up and down from the 3rd floor because the keys didn't work

Someone has previously broke into this room and they didn't even care to replace the door. The lock hardly worked. There were poop stains next to the toilet smeared on the wall next to the toilet paper. Remote to the TV did not work. TV stations went out when it rained. Asked for dishes but they told me I had to wait an hour and 45 minutes then they would bring them. Waited for over 2 hours and they never came or called. Sink would clog up everytime you turned on the water. And the toilet seat kept sliding off.

Very convenient area but definitely a budget stay. The coffee offered in the morning was really bad. There is no coffee maker or utensils or anything in the room- you have to order them. No ice maker you have to make the ice in your freezer. There were 3 pillows not 4 on the double bed. It was clean but desperately in need of an upgrade. Counters chipped and painted in. Same with the bath. The carpet was stained with large red marks almost everywhere. The hallway smelled awful like ketchup and you could tell it was a common complaint because there are air fresheners installed along the way. They were not working. We were worried our room would smell but thankfully it did not- someone left the window open to air it out before we got in. The light in the kitchen was opened and the lid was not on correctly. All the overhead lights even in the lobby had bugs in the covers. I did not see any in the room but was expecting to with age and condition.
I get it’s an extended stay and meant for long stays- but I wouldn’t have been able to put up with staying longer than the night. It was a $100 room but it should have been priced lower. Ive stayed in better kept lower chain hotels for much less. I’ve stayed in much older places better cared for.

Very close to Lahey Hospital. Came the night before because of the bad weather report and the morning appointment.
Very satisfied withe reasonable "bare bones" accommodations and price with Expedia. No juice with breakfast. Check-in went well with an accessable room and a close room across the hall for our daughter..

Overall we had a good stay and the hotel was close to everything we needed to get to. There was an issue where the faucet for the bathroom sink would detach from the counter when you'd go to turn it on, but it still worked fine! Was hoping there'd be a hair dryer available in the bathroom, but that wasn't a big deal. It took a few minutes to check in, but the receptionist was very friendly and helpful!

The room did not look or smell clean. There was food particles on the bed. It was WAY overpriced. Couldn’t even find the grab and go breakfast - VERYA UNDERWHELMING

We just needed a room for an evening and it was very comfortable and convenient. I can see how this property would be great for anyone needing a longer stay.

This place had bed bugs! It was so noisy, we could barely sleep. horrible experience.

Stayed for 2 nights while visiting Salem and Boston. Hotel is in a great location with plenty of food and shopping options close by. About a 25min drive to both Salem and Boston. The staff was friendly.
Now the bad.. the hotel looks nice and clean outside, however on entry into the room we got quite the opposite. The room looked like the bare minimum was done to clean. Hair and dust was easier to find than soap. We were given the one bottle of shampoo and one bar of soap (not that we ever use hotel items but it’s the principle). The bath/shower had chipping porcelain however water pressure and temp was good. The room also had a kitchenette where the cabinets were home to previous guests garbage. The stove top had rust and chipping paint. Bed was comfortable, however was only provided 2 pillows for 2 people (could be being unreasonable but most hotels we get 4). The blanket provided was super thin, no comforter or duvet just a sheet and thin blanket.
Overall this hotel was not worth the price we paid. Very disappointed with the hotel as a whole. Would not recommend staying here at all.

Don’t go if you want a clean space to stay. Hair on shower walls looked as though the walls were mopped or wiped with whatever they cleaned the floor with. Gross dripping stain in wall next to bed, that was sold a queen, but was a very old and uncomfortable double. Every drawer has crumbs or trash in it. Microwave was absolutely disgusting. Built up food in the door, totally gross. The fridge ran so loudly the whole time, the ac unit is so loud it like being in a laundry room on spin cycle…everything says non smoking but everytime the ac kicked on it reales like cigarettes. Walking in the hotel smelled like a weed dispensary. Grab and go breakfast, no thanks. Was like a food pantry dropped off their extras…only positive was location to where we needed to be and one front desk attendant that was kind enough to bring new sheets and pillows since it was clear the sheets were not changed…full of random hairs and actual trash…bogus

Hotel overall was not in good condition. One of the two elevators were out of order. Terrible smell down the halls. Our room was ok, very basic. No real blanket on the bed, just very light duvet cover with out the filling. Shower was gross. Something brown all over the bottom of the tub. Not a preferred location if there to visit Salem as we spent most of our money on transportation. On a better note, the front office staff were always welcoming. The grab and go breakfast was better than nothing at all. Definitely not worth the price of what they charge. Seemed like more people were living there than just staying overnight.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and updated-looking. The beds were comfortable! I’d return!

The room was really nice and big, but had a bit of a weird smell entering the room. But regardless we enjoyed our stay.

I realize that at that price one cannot expect gold standard. But I have stayed at ESA before ( and have a loyalty membership as well ) and it was never this bad. Moses at the reception had a great attitude but others were rude and terrible for reasons only known to them. The room wasn't that clean and we could find muck at almost every corner. Coffee was only available for a short duration in the day.. so overall disappointing.

Disappointing paying $260 with one pet for a queen with no sofa. The sheets felt like sand paper, only 3 thin pillows for two ppl. Asked for an “extra”, nothing. Hallways smelt like Indian food. The carpets and floor where disgusting, room and hallways. There was hair on the vanity. The a/c just made noise, nothing coming out. Sad sad sad disgusting overall.

Straightforward check-in bathroom smelt mildest and toilet seat was broken! Refrigerator dirty. Bed not comfy at all

Room was still dirty, smells like stale cigarette smoke as well. Found pair of glasses under the bed.

The positive point is the location of the hotel. Apart from the location the hotel is not clean, there is a very bad smell in the corridors and at the reception, the staff is not well trained (lack of know-how), the breakfast is served in a not very clean space

Our door lock was broken and management refused to help or even talk to us. We had to leave and go to another hotel in the middle of the night. Went back the next day to get our money back and the manager wouldn’t even come out of his office. We called corporate office and are waiting for a refund.

It is in a great location and walkable to many areas but the property is disgusting. My “smoke free” room smelled like someone had smoked in there every day for a decade. All my clothes ended up smelling like cigarette smoke, I took a shower every time before I left so I didn’t smell like smoke, I only went in the room to sleep because it gave me a headache from the smell. I asked multiple time for a room change and was told all rooms were taken. The free “breakfast” is a Natural Valley granola bar and a cup of coffee. Highly suggest paying more and staying at another property.

Great location. Quick, easy check in. Friendly staff.

We booked and had confirmed reservations. When I came to check-in around midnight, the VERY RUDE front desk man told me that NO rooms were available. I told him that we have confirmed reservations. He did not care to cancel our reservations due to them over booking and YELLED at me like I was stupid or something else. I then had to find accommodations elsewhere. I then had Expedia customer service cancel the reservations. On Monday I found that my bank account was charged $161.00 because the Extended Stay Burlington did not cancel. I had to call Expedia Customer service again to resolve the latter.

Staff seemed unconcerned with requests for plates, silverware that were unavailable the first day after purchasing food… actually ate with our hands using ice cube trays as plates…
I have another stay scheduled and tried to modify the reservation by phone to add an additional night and was hung up on mid conversation…

Not sure how they justify charging over 20 bucks for a stay here. My friend ended up leaving- didn't feel at all comfortable.

Dismal property, dirty, dingy, old, unfriendly, no supplies in the kitchenette in the room. No free breakfast as advertised, but at least they had coffee in the lobby area in the morning.

The rooms are sparse, without any customer benefits. The beds are ok, but not up to other hotel's bedding (Hampton Inn, Holiday Express, Fairfield). Not worth the price.

Check in wasn’t very pleasant however Roman was clean. Early morning noise of the side room was disturbing. Breakfast was simple.

The hotel is very nice and the staff is friendly. The only problem we had was there was mold on our shower curtain and about every 12 hours we had to get our key cards re-scanned. We would leave in the morning around 8am and return around 7pm and the hotel key cards wouldn't work. We stayed for 4 days and everyday this happend which was very annoying

Our room was very outdated, didn’t look anything like pictures. Rusty microwave, bathtub and sink. Smelled like musty furniture. No toilet paper had to ask for it. Check in staff was nice. Check out staff barely acknowledged us didn’t say a word. Breakfast was grab and go. Coffee was gone and muffins were only selection.
