Shelly is so sweet and helpful! Loved the Koi pond. Room very comfortable. Breakfast was awesome. Beautiful house. Even saw a deer in the driveway!!

We absolutely LOVED this place. Perfect location, amazing town,delicious breakfasts, spectacular innkeeper (Shelli). Even has a refrigerator for the guests to store drinks, leftovers, etc. Both the front porch and back yard areas are fantastic to sit and read or watch the world go by. HIGHLY recommend!

Wonderful experience for our first time in Michigan and at a bed and breakfast. Quaint, walkable area, quiet, relaxing and a delicious breakfast each morning. Shelly, the host, was helpful, prompt and friendly. Highly recommend.

Beautiful big late 19th century house with quirky layout and traditional stylings. Shelley greeted us on arrival and was very friendly and helpful. She made us feel right at home. The room was beautiful, clean and spacious with very comfortable bed, reading chairs and private bathroom. Complimentary Snacks, water, tea, coffee and hot chocolate were available in the shared mini kitchen, with microwave and sink. Breakfast was good but no options provided. Shelley served us OJ, french toast and sausage with syrup and fresh pineapple. Plenty of juice and coffee available. The ample patio seating was a highlight and we chose to eat on the front terrace. Quiet neighbourhood 10 mins walk to waterfront/Main Street with many food and beverage options and shopping. On-site parking also available.

FABULOUS B&B in central Grand Haven, walking distance to the boutique/restaurant area, super cute and comfy rooms, classic bathrooms with claw foot tubs. All the modern comforts (eg Kurig coffee) with old world charm!

Shelly was fantastic and very nice. The house was awesome and we loved it. We we will definitely stay there again.

Always enjoy our stay at Boyden

Boyden House was amazing! We stayed in room 5 (Amber's Room), and could not be happier. The private terrace was amazing to enjoy a summer evening. Host was great and gave good recommendations. Breakfast was delicious. Could not recommend more.

Property was walking distance to the lake.

Shelly is a very friendly host, she greeted us and showed us around the house. The room was very clean and as expected based on pictures. Wonderful area, peaceful neighborhood, and overall great stay!

Beautiful historic home with several areas to choose to enjoy. Porches, separate eating areas for breakfast off street parking. Shelly was so friendly and helpful. Our room was quiet and we enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our one night stay. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. We walked to our evening activities so the location was important for us in choosing this B and B.

Enjoyed the history of the property, it brought back memories of my Grandfather’s home! It was very comfortable, quiet & a beautiful place to meet other folks from around the world! Shelly was the perfect host!

The house is all old in1870's have some modern amenities and in a quiet neighborhood. Everything is in walking distance.

We were unable to travel to the Boyden House as we had Covid sweep through our home. I have reached out to the Boyden house ahead of our stay and have heard nothing back.

Driving up to the property, you couldn’t help but be blown away by the outside of the home… and that PORCH! It is amazing! Shelly was so very kind and friendly! Our room was perfect for our anniversary trip with just us two! Our room had a perfect private, cozy balcony for the two of us. Our breakfast was so delicious! Shelly brought it out to us on the porch, hot and delicious with fresh orange juice! My husband and I were able to sit and reconnect without children around for the first time in a long time. We can’t wait to go back and stay again!

This is a very well maintained and convenient property! it is walking distance from the main downtown area, my husband and I brought bikes and were easily able to bike to various locations and restaurants from the Inn. Shelly was amazing and always welcomed us with a smile and friendly conversation! This is a great find.

Shelly was an amazing host! Her cooking and service were a solid 10!
