Service was slow. It was extremely aggravating seeing people with blue shirts (managers I presume) barking orders at the understaffed workers and not lifting a finger to help. Then I got charged 3 times for the same dinner so that’s great. When I told the front desk they said they would handle it and never did.

Great looking place, attentive and friendly staff

The food here was top quality and catered to my vegan diet. Dishes were created just for me off the menu. The desserts indescribably incredible. Plating and taste superb. Beautiful clean beach, pool, rooms cheerful, design and comfort also top notch. Staff all were superior with big hearts. I am a seasoned traveler and this resort rates in my top 4 around the world.

Its such a good place to relax and eat. I also like the fact that the breakfast is made to order and not a buffet service.

A great place to relax and chill, great staff and concept, however the food and drinks were way too expensive and the food wasn't that good to match the price and what you read on the menu is not always what you get on the plate. A bit far from the center and nightlife, no restaurants or bars nearby, a taxi/car is needed.

rishi was amazing to share his local tips and took care of arrangenents at other lux resorts. such a shame that service at the bar/restaurant in general is too slow! also hotel could have benefited from lowering the price of local beer or rum encouraging more consumption. knowing that it charges over 3 times we decide to stay healthy instead.

Very good stay at this hotel. The common areas are great, location is great, food is great, beach is beautiful, spa is really good. The only downside is the rooms, they are a bit outdated. But overall a great experience and stay.

We had a lovely stay at Salt. We were in the room on the 1st floor facing the pool. Meals were amazing, healthy with lots of options starters, mains and desserts; the portions were quite big for me, so I usually either skipped starter or dessert. We tried most of the cocktails as well and absolutely loved them all. We also tried 60-min spa there, it was super relaxing. Staff are nice at Salt, easy to talk to and they even remember the cocktail we love the most! Strongly recommend!

Salt of Palmar is pretty boutique hotel with an amazing breakfast and overall fantastic food. The staff is absolutely lovely. We had a wonderful time and want to thank all, and especially Med who is a very friendly guy trying to answer all our questions 😊

So beautiful hotel and super nice staff! The “Bang on the beach” room are worth the upgrade, book this for the best view.

Amazing Staff, could not do enough for you!

We really liked the hotel. But a few things could be improved: - The welcome didn’t mention the free water activities or show the gym or roof bar - The info board did not mention one needed to pre book for the glass bottom boat - The pricing and quantity of food made ordering at dinner a gamble - pay £20 for a small shrimp cocktail with two shrimp… 2 OR her a very large curry meal

This hotel is outstanding. Excellent design, amazing service, in a stunning location. All staff are so friendly and helpful. Facilities are impeccable, food is top quality. It’s not cheap but definitely worth it. Bang on the beach rooms worth upgrading to.

First class Hotel. Enyoyed every minute. The food and service is top standard. Would definitely visit again.

Amazing stay. The staff is so friendly and the service is excellent. Very good food and the best breakfast. The rooms is super clean and “the bang on the beach” really gives you the most wonderful view. Special thanks to our friends in the boat house for all the water activities and laughter.

A truly wonderful experience. Sensational hotel and setting, with kind and friendly staff. We really enjoyed our stay here and would thoroughly recommend it. The Bang on Beach and Sea View rooms are worth paying extra for. We opted for All-Inclusive for simplicity and I'm glad we did as the quality of food and drinks was mostly excellent.

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Salt. It’s a beautiful, tranquil resort. The staff are very friendly and helpful. As we were there a while, we appreciated the restaurant team’s flexibility allowing us to go off menu.

Everything you would expect and beyond! World class food and service, amazing views and a stunning complex as a whole. Great rooms, fresh and clean. Great Wi-Fi connection throughout the hotel. The only slight improvement would be a bigger, more updated gym. We had a wonderful experience and will surely comeback for another visit! An extra appreciation to the service management team for meeting all our demand and request as we got engaged on the premises, with flowers and champagne arranged at our room according to the request.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable, with every amenity available. I especially enjoyed the locally produced beauty products: shampoo, conditioned, hair mask, salt body scrub, body wash, hand wash and lotion! All were amazing! Most of the staff were really good. Talk to the manager if you need anything, he is so kind and helpful. I was a bit sick one evening, and the restaurant staff were very supportive and professional, and the hotel arranged for a doctor to visit me in my room. The beach is gorgeous and I also went diving with the dive centre next door and they were amazing professionals. I wish I would have had time to do two dives with them. The restaurant focuses on local food and I really enjoyed my meals. I especially recommend the fish ceviche and roasted root vegetable salad. A few small suggestions for improvement: The hotel tries to function completely on an app/digitally. It's okay for some but others may wish to ditch their phone at least some of the time when on vacation. I really, really miss the simplicity of paper menus. The spa menu (again, on the app) is a bit confusing and led to a somewhat stressful exchange before my treatment. However, the treatment itself was great.
