Great location. Good price. Comfortable beds. Toilet didn’t flush properly and tv remote didn’t work at times.

We stayed overnight en route to another destination. The price was great for what we got. The clerk was very nice. Our room appeared to not have been quite finished being readied, as the door was ajar, the TV was on, and the pillows were in the middle of the bed, with no pillow cases. Otherwise the room was clean. We could easily hear the TV next door and the guests upstairs so if you’re a light sleeper you might choose a different room. The heater and fan were very quiet. Adequate stay but we will likely choose another place next time.

This is a great budget motel in a great location in Brookings. I travel with the service dog and I appreciate that they had dog towels available for my dog. They put me in a pet room and there were stains on the carpet. There was hair in the sink and hair in the shower, mold on the shower curtain, all which can be fixed quickly with bleach and a better rinse down. The floors were sticky, probably the cleaning agent they used. But what I did like about this motel was that it felt safe for a budget motel, and the location is good, staff is friendly and had plenty of suggestions and were truthful about restaurants and things to do. If management ever decides to remodel some rooms and especially because they allow pets, they should put in vinyl flooring in the rooms to make it easier to disinfect the rooms from pet dander or whatever guests may even do the room. The hair dryer was a nice addition as well as a small refrigerator and microwave. You have to close the bathroom door to keep the sunlight out in the morning. The water was really good, scalding hot! Good water pressure and the drains were clean and water went down the sink and tub quickly. It's a nice motel because they do not allow monthly renters like other chains.

The staff were excellent. Very helpful and pleasant.

The lady at front desk was very rude. The pictures when i booked were very misleading compared to what you get when you arrive

Filthy! Sticky stuff on the floors, bathtub not clean, disgusting! Broken everything! Rude desk lady!

I stayed here 3 weeks prior and everything was great so I returned. Everything was good. One exception. I hadn't seen this before but the headboard had USB outlets on each side. Handy! I plugged my phone and laptop in. In the morning I found neither had charged. The USB and the Wall lights are all on the same circuit as the entry switch. To turn out the lights in the room I had to use the switch by the door. The room was good and I will probably return but I know not to use the USB with the lights turned off.

The room was updated but not the linen. There were dirty hand marks all over the door.
