Had a great time here with some friends. Literally right beside the metro which is one of the best transportation systems I’ve been on. Very nice neighbourhood just outside downtown. Would stay here again.

Room is clean and well organized. Location is good as well. Hoping to stay again when next visit.

Great walkable proximity to Olympic Stadium. Everything was neat, tidy, & clean.

Easy check-in. Close to metro. Cleaning staff were excellent. There is no tv in the room and the decor is a little outdated, but overall a nice experience.

We had a great stay at le Gîte du Survenant. This is a property with a self-check in and a large shared kitchen. The room was clean and tidy and exactly what we needed, with a fold out bed for our child to sleep on. There was a spacious bathroom with a shower/tub perfect for our family, and recommendations from the host about where to stay. The hotel is located near the biodôme which was convenient, and had a fridge and plates/cutlery for meals in the shared kitchen. In terms of improvements, the curb appeal of the property isn't great (looks like an old converted apartment) and parking was a challenge. We had to park a few blocks away and walk up with our luggage. We were pleasantly surprised when opening the room door to find a beautifully decorated space. Overall we had a great stay - thank you!

The apartment is easily accessible via public transport (metro). Check-in details were received in time and went smoothly. Owners were very responsive via messaging. Apartment was clean and everything was available for preparing your own breakfast and lunch.

Comfortable, spacious room. Easy walk to nearby Metro station. Access to shared kitchen space was convenient. Excellent value.

Very nice and convenient neighborhood

Spacious and clean. Freezer was not working and upstairs neighbours/renters were noisy, could hear them walk late at night. Overrall satisfied.

The property is well embedded within the Montreal suburb and away from Downtown. Very quiet and comfy and convenient being within steps from the Montreal Metro.

Excellent stay

This was an amazing space! It was a full apartment unit with bedroom, living room, and kitchen (and bathroom). The area was close to the olympic sights and an easy drive or transit to the Plateau and Old City areas.

Location was great, right close to olympic stadium, rooms were nicely decorated. Was nice to come into a air-conditioned room whe we arived. Easy check in

My daughter and I booked 2 nights into the 2 bedroom apartment, and everything was perfect! We wanted a place that was close to the Biodome, and I couldn't ask for a better location. The apartment is located on a nice quiet street, and exceeded our expectations. Very clean and comfortable. So much better than a hotel. My daughter and I were so happy to have our own rooms. The beds were so comfy and rooms were well decorated. Each room has 2 beside tables and lamps...as well as outlets for plug and usb charging. It was a hot few days in montreal, and upon arrival, I couldn't figure out the air conditioning...so I texted the owners and while we were out to dinner, they came and hooked up the portable air conditioner ( I gave them permission to enter while we were out) and they also left an extra fan ( one bedroom already had a fan). We came back to a nice cool apartment. Owners are quick to respond to any questions, and very helpful. I would highly recommend this property, and will be booking with them again someday. Gite du Survenant exceeded my expectations. The property's cozy atmosphere, comfortable accommodation, and friendly service made for a delightful stay. The location was peaceful yet convenient. Highly recommended

The place is nicely layout and makes for a great home base. I've been travelling for business for 5-days and was happily surprised to find free laundry facilities, what a bonus. I would highly recommend this if you are visiting Montreal for a day or two. If plan to visit downtown you will need a car or do public transit.

Mediocre place 1. There’s a chewing gum sticked on the holder of the lamp. I thought it was the switch and I pressed on it - was so disgusting 2. Checking at 4 PM however checkout time is at 10 AM. You have to wake up so early, and basically lose 2-3 hours compared to standard hotels in just single day. 3. There’s no staff around - it’s not even a hotel by any definition. You are not even able to reach them by the phone number given on the website

The area surrounding the apartment was amazing for a first time stay in Montreal it was an experience.

Real good

Unfortunately, can't give this a thumbs up. The apartment smelled like old smoke. When we arrived, we told the woman downstairs and she apologized and brought us up some air freshener specifically to get rid of smoke odor, which is a huge red flag. We tried to open the windows to air it out, but were very shortly greeted by the smell of smoking right below the window. The furniture and overall state of the apartment was in poor condition (stains on the chairs, mildew on shower curtain), and the smell of old 2nd and 3rd hand smoke everywhere. The neighborhood is very close to the biodome which is what we wanted, but is generally run down, litter everywhere, and not the safest feeling.

We are very pleased that we stayed here. Enough space to move around, cute kitchen, outdoor space if you want a little fresh air. The bedroom decor was nice and l slept well. The #1 benefit to staying here was that it is steps away from the Metro.

This was a very cozy and welcoming space. This is a self checkin place but the hosts were just a text message away. It was a well-furnished and clean property very close to the Metro. I'd stay again.

The kitchen are was very clean and well-appointed, although I did not need to use it during my stay. The decoration was simple but functional.

What was unique is that there are only four rooms in the property all of which are very large with a large bathroom and walk in closet. The four rooms share a big fully equipped kitchen . I was able to save considerable money by bringing in food for my meals. . It is very bright and very clean. The Metro is one stop away.

I have stayed here numerous times and it is always clean and inviting. I appreciate it's location beside a subway stop.

This is a air bnb - not a hotel. No parking except if you can find a spot on the restricted street or rent from a neighbour. But you have to cal him yourself and work it out. The snow was so high it hid the fire hydrant but the $175 ticket I got proves there must be one. Not what I expected when I booked. Space was clean and nice and if your looking for that - good option, but I needed parking and expected a hotel.
