Athens Psiri Hotel

The inside of the hotel was very nice. The rooms were big. I had an elevator and air-conditioning. The decoration of the rooms were simple but comfortable while the location is right in the heart of the city. The actual location of the hotel itself is not in a very nice area. I would not feel safe, walking outside by myself at night.

We enjoyed our stay and it was very conveniently located. Easy walking distance to many things in the city centre: acropolis, shopping, restaurants, bus routes, etc. The hotel itself looked sketchy on the outside but when you entered in, it was very well maintained. (A lot of shops and boutiques are like that here, you wonder if you should go in and then - wow! A hidden gem!) The room was clean, and basic - didn’t really need anything else as we came to see Athens, not stay in our room. The staff was beyond helpful for every need: directions, wake up calls, ordering taxis, kettle for making tea, etc Would definitely stay again. (Note: there were no English channels on the tv but again, we didn’t come to watch tv.)

The shower didn't stay up had to hold it the whole time

All staff we met at the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly, as good as anywhere. The hotel and its rooms is done to a very good standard and look nice, with modern looking bathrooms and clean throughout. Don t be fooled by the surrounding area its a good hotel to stay in, I've been to athens many times and would definitely look to return here.
