Beautiful property in a great location! Stayed here the night of our daughter's wedding. Would highly recommend!

Outstanding service in a gorgeous setting reflecting the Mission San Juan Capistrano. Beautifully appointed, immaculate rooms, and very comfortable beds. We dined at Ysidora Restaurant . Food & service were top notch. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to return. Great location for walking to explore the area. It was a lovely treat.

This is a lovely hotel, but guest services could be better. First, there is a $35 resort fee which is redeemable against food. I was not aware of this so was forced to pay the resort fee without getting the full benefits. 2. There is a spa on site but as a hotel guest, we are unable to use the facilities unless we book a spa service. The reason I stay at a nice hotel with nice facilities is because I think I will be allowed access. So to be refused, particularly as I was staying 6 nights, was quite frustrating. Overall, nice hotel but there are no perks.

The hotel is nearly brand new with very clean and comfortable rooms. The hotel is right next to the Mission with amazing views of the surrounding area.

This hotel was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at! They upgraded our room to a suite because we were there for two nights for our wedding. There entire staff was so kind and helpful as well. Highly recommend visiting!!

Great property, location mediocre

This stay was one of the most relaxing short vacations I have ever taken. Lovely accoms, a delightful scent to greet you on arrival, Cordial and friendly staff from the front desk to the housekeeping staff. Would definitely return.

Noisy, dirty and smelly

We paid a premium to stay here and did not get a premium experience. They lost our luggage for half a day. The cleaning crew left dirty rags in our room. Our towels were all ripped up. The front desk repeatedly made costly mistakes and then refused to take responsibility/do anything to make up for it. Stay elsewhere if you're going to San Juan Capistrano. This place is not worth the extra cost.

The shower featured clumps of human hair stuck to the walls at head height which I had to clean up when I stepped in at 6.15. Possibly above eye level for the housekeeper but utterly disgusting nonetheless. Pool is small and has been colonised by very young children with inflatables. I’m not a curmudgeon but it made an end of day dip impossible for adults. Outside seating is tired. Inside furnishings were good. Service at the valet, bar and front desk excellent… except for diy housekeeping in the bathroom. Hotel food adequate but not excellent. Several decent alternatives near by bloom, mayfield and ciao pasta. Overpriced by c. 150 in my opinion.

Nice hôtel, central located within walking distance to the Mission, restaurants, bars and boutiques. Staff was very accommodating and polite.

I thought the rooms were a little dated

We stayed her for two nights my our boys and enjoyed it very much, friendly staff, great pool and nice bar and restaurant.

The staff could not have been any kinder. We went for a concert across the street at the mission which was so convenient. The restaurant food was incredible. We enjoyed the beautiful and diverse neighborhood and amazing places to eat. Can't wait to come back!

Great location. Easy access to Capistrano and the Mission. Clean new facility.

The hotel was aware of a water boiler issue before we checked in. Throughout the entire hotel there was intermittent water and/or no hot water. Day two, no water at all. We checked into another hotel and was only given a refund for the second day. Our short family visit was cut short due to this inconvenience.

Beautiful hotel. Friendly staff at check in. Gorgeous room. $35 daily fee is actually a credit you can use at the bar/restaurant. "Olive oil tasting" was a surly bartender setting - practically tossing - two small slices of baguette with olive oil on them in front of us with no explanation. So, One slice each, one kind of olive oil, not sure what it was but that's ok. Just don't call it a "tasting". Walls are thin - we were kept up most of the night by next door neighbors who cranked music and stayed up laughing and talking loudly for hours. Called the front desk who sent security... they were quiet for about an hour, then it started again. Our splurge on a "nice" hotel for a weekend with my mom and daughter felt like a bust. At least the property itself is lovely. Won't go back.

This property is an 11 out of a 10. The property is immaculate and the staff go out of their way to make your stay wonderful. They even gave my mother transportation via a golf cart to the downtown area for her comfort. This is a must stay, even a destination stay.

Pros: The hotel is immaculate and looks very new. The decor is beautiful and a perfect balance of fresh and modern, and cozy and traditional, befitting the area. The hotel offer perks that come with the destination fee: free Mission entry, f&b credit BUT make sure you ask for these or you will likely miss out! The hotel gave us complimentary mini champagne for our anniversary. Cons: Expedia does not show up to date destination fee (was $35 not $25) and all taxes that are added to your room. While most staff were great, the barman at the restaurant was awful - unfriendly and sub par service. The complimentary 'olive oil tasting' was a joke - one tiny bit of bread with some oil dripped on top (with no info about it) - but at least it was free! The valet parking seemed expensive at $45 per night - no self park option was available.

My wife and I have stayed at a lot of properties over the years and this one was all 10s across the board. Overall the best hotel experience with walking distance to everything you would want to do.

Nice hotel & really central to some great places to eat. If there’s a wedding be ready for the noise & very busy pool/spa & bars.
