The Brookmill

Friendly lady greeted us and she carried my suitcase all the way upstairs for me room was clean and nice bathroom lovely and spacious great location no negatives for me apart from the couple flights of stairs

Just the amount of stairs lol

Great place to stay with excellent food on offer in the pub. Staff nice and very clean and comfortable bedroom

Very friendly pub / hotel will certainly return.

The TV remote control. Too complicated for a Senior person..

It was clean. Bed comfy.

We arrived around 8.30pm and the kitchen had shut due to a previous party and staff shortage. It would have been good to have been notified in advance so we could have made alternative plans. We asked if we could order Uber Eats (or similar) and was told yes. However, when it arrived, we were told we would have to eat in our room. We were two colleagues travelling together in separate rooms so it would not be appropriate to eat together. The bar and restaurant were empty. After some discussion we were allowed to eat downstairs but made to feel like we were going to get the staff in trouble and they were doing us an exceptional favour. We'd have happily eaten in the pub restaurant should it have been open.
