Very well organised and very clean for a rather big hotel. Very nice onsen. Very good breakfast with an embarrassing variety to choose from. Helpful staff.
The location becomes a challenge if you’re on a tighter schedule. JE local line is near and that is a plus for longer commutes - just one stop from the main station. Requires good planning though. The twin room could be designed better, in our case the long narrow corridor felt weird with a rather small room.

We loved the generous Japanese hospitality, the immaculate property and the overall very traditional flair. The breakfast was fantastic and the room size was great, with all necessary amenities, nice decor, great bathroom and A/C

This is a traditional Japanese ryokan with an onsen. This year they have at least one or two staff members who speak English.
I visited last year and returned this year and I’m disappointed to say there’s been no change. Even the snacks and the Raman are exactly the same. They need to offer more variety or it’s becoming boring.

Good location, big hotel with lots of amenities. Expensive but very good breakfast with lots of choices. Whole hotel is covered in tatami mats so you change out of your shoes in the lobby.
We didn't have a chance to use the private onsens because the hotel was so busy and there were queues in front of each of them. Each group can use it for up to 45 minutes, so you could be standing there for hours waiting for your turn.
