I love a porch and this unit has one with a slice of the ocean view. We brought our own fan after reading some of the previous reviews. A ceiling fan on the porch would be an awesome addition. There is construction ongoing at Compass Point so just be aware that it can be noisy if you are enjoying the porch. The bed was very comfortable as well as the couches in the living room. The kitchen was well stocked if you want to cook and eat in. We love staying in this area of the island. You are close to shopping, groceries, and restaurants. I will suggest that the owner supplies details about where to put the trash. The recycling cans are easy to spot but we had to visit Island Vacations to inquire about trash. The people at Island Vacations are always accommodating and easy to work with.

The only thing extra we would have enjoyed was a fan on the deck. There is only a small view of the water, but I was aware of this when booking. I would not hesitate to rent this unit again. I was very comfortable there and had about everything I needed. There were items to take to the beach included plus great beach towels. The cleaning staff does a great job. I loved working with Select Vacation Properties. I had great service from them. Also the keyless locks were wonderful. You did not have to keep up with a key while on the beach.

We returned this year to celebrate my wife’s 75th birthday. The island is returning, slowly, but our accommodations at Compass Point was exceptional. The beach was perfect, the condos very nice, and although there were a couple of glitches, Select Vacations dealt and resolved them expeditiously! Everyone was pleased. We are booked for next year! Highly recommend! Also enjoyed Cielo’s, Island pizza and Doc Fords!
