- The spa was lovely and the hotel is decorated very nicely.
- The location is ideal and picturesque.
- Rooms are decorated nicely, modern, clean
- the stars were very unhelpful. Upon arrival we received no information about the spa usage or where they were (the hotel is a maze so a quick explanation would have been helpful). I had to chase down multiple members of staff for directions who all seemed like it was painful to explain to me.
- the rooms do not have a kettle in which I find bizarre. Even the most run down roadside hotels I’ve been to have kettles so you can have tea or coffee in the morning. Instead you are forced to buy overpriced coffee at their bar or order room service where the service fee costs more than the drink. This would have made the stay relaxing rather than dreading getting out of bed at 7am on the hunt for coffee.
- I had a lot of problems with the hotel before arriving. I was contacted by reception to say that I couldn’t use the room I’d booked the day before as I had a dog even though booking.com says the hotel was pet friendly. I was going to the hotel for my 30th birthday and had just booked it as another hotel had fallen through. My only option given was to book a spa suit for an extra €500 euros. I already pushed the boat out to pay for this room and if I cancelled I would have been stuck in the middle of Europe (we were travelling from another location on a Roadtrip) with nowhere to stay as I could not get my money back from the hotel for 7-14 days. I was absolutely distraught and crying. I had a panic attack talking on the phone with booking.com and then a couple of hours later the hotel said they would accommodate our stay with the dog. Suddenly they magically had a pet friendly room. So basically they lied to me in the first place causing me intense emotional harm.
- my boyfriend requested that they do something nice for my birthday. They did not.
- I asked for new towels and toilet roll from reception on one day in the morning, when we arrived back at night it was not there.
- the pillows are terrible!
- swimming pool women’s changing rooms smells like cigarettes

the room was lovely, very clean, modern and comfortable. great pillow menu option that allowed me to have a firmer pillow. also a very cute sleepytime music option which was fun. the communal areas like the bar and lounge were beautifully decorated. the spa was lovely too, great selection of experience’s( just wish they were t spread across the hotel in different locations). the breakfast was top notch, really impressive spread. parking was great too.
the lady on the front desk was borderline rude, but the young man and staff at breakfast were delightful, but she did spoil the overall experience.

the breakfast the room , lots of communal space, sitting areas; the dining terrace
it was quite challenging to find your way around; & I would have preferred a paper to a digital map

Breakfast excellent!! food mostly very good with well sourced ingredients. [maki:´dan] meal excellent!! Staff pleasant and helpful. Spa compact but enjoyable, good back massage. Location very pleasant and interesting - great wine area. Atmosphere relaxed.
Took a long time to get through on the phone to book dinner for first night (which was necessary as very booked up). Room a bit stuffy and furniture tired. Bathroom small for two people though most requirements were well provided. Bed was not double as shown but two singles with gap. Pillow situation (having to order extra in advance) wasn't clear to us on booking or in the room – we didn't know to check the QR codes, and this affected our comfort. It could have been made clearer.

The food in general was exceptional, I was there for 24 hours for a business meeting and the catering was perfect.

There was a hallway right across from our room - zero privacy because other guests kept looking into our room.
A baby cod costs 10€ extra. There was no parking i the hotel garage available and no possibility to reserve in the restaurant.
We ended up leaving the same day.

Wonderful swimming pool, amazing breakfast and friendly staff, especially Amin from the restaurant
Rooms are rather small and simple

Easy to reach from Autobahn
Personnel very unfriendly and unprofessional. Forgot to serve main course at dinner, or refused to provide information about massages at the hotel because they were “fully booked anyways”.
In the room: both phones dead, battery in safe low, lamp in bathroom flickering, tv not receiving Bluetooth only DVDs. Outdated since 10 years.
SPA full with people, not one area but 4 different ones requiring you to walk around the hotel and search.
Very sad for the money spent

Very good hotel, we would absolutely go back.
Very friendly people. Very nice, comfortable rooms. Although the hotel is rather big, the hotel has a very kind and familiar atmosphere. Furthermore restaurant and breakfast were delicious. And the village is nice, in the middle of wine castles, you can do very nice sightseeing by foot. We also admired the classic cars. We enjoyed our stay very much ! Congratulations !
really no remarks.

Comfortable room, lovely breakfast. Great location, very pretty area. Good secure parking. We ate at wine bar across road (affiliated to hotel I think) and food was great. We also used pool, clean and not busy.

Breakfast was excellent, delicious and with variety of food. The staff was amazing, since they supplied vegan food, the moment they heard that my daughter is vegan.
It was very kind of them. We didn't expect it.
The staff in the reception was also nice and and assisted us when we needed.
The rooms looked very good and clean.
The only thing that I recommend to add are kettle, few plates and cutlery, so in case resturants are close and you want to drink coffee or eat something from.the supermarket, you will be able to do so.

Everything from welcoming and friendly staff to the comfort of the place.
Nothing and I hope that they will always keep their excellent standards.

Pillows were very thin and uncomfortable and no replacement was offered when I asked for it. I would expect more from hotel like this.

Breakfast was excellent
Had not booked dinner in advance of visit which meant that we could not be fitted in on any of our evenings there which was a real disappointment.

Breakfast was one of the best parts - great assortment and helpful staff. The restaurant in the original part of the hotel was also excellent in terms of food and staff.
Rooms small, public rooms small and cramped with far too much furniture. Staff want to be helpful but shouldn't offer to help for something and then get it all wrong whereby it costs the customer then extra time and money...that just leads to huge irritation. Reception also permanently understaffed.
