This is my second time at the Colonial and I'll be back; this hotel is very clean and comfortable and the recent renovations they've done here are very effective and makes for a very satisfying stay. It's located near a shopping centre (5-10 minute walk) and it's about a 15 minute walk from the centre of town, so this is pretty convenient if you don't mind an evening stroll! It's also very quiet at night, so you'll sleep well here. Very easy (remote) check in process too. Highly recommended!
I can't think of anything to improve the Colonial - it's a very good value for money option in Ballina and, as mentioned, this has become my go-to for my Ballina visits :-)

The motel looks as though it’s been newly refurbished and is very neat and tidy. This could be a 4.5 star except for some issues
The floor is hard tile & slippery ang the beds don’t have support on the edges so you can fall out of bed which is what happened to my poor partner.
