Did you not receive my last review? I’m currently working with my lawyers on a class action lawsuit along with other visitors of this establishment. All of the problems with this particular weak leak in the Holiday Inn chain have to do with faulty maintenance and faulty management. From the staff to the busted heater to the peeling paint on the walls to the broken toilet to the blood in the carpet and the broken furniture and finally to the exploding water pipes in the stairwell when the fire alarm went off and my wife and I had to run down from the 11th floor screaming and slipping on the water and nearly both dying of panic attacks. I’ve been giving several warnings to this particular establishment to lawyer up because they are in for a bumpy ride.

Upon arrival, the hotel did not have hot water or any heat in the entire building and they offered no other options or solutions. Expedia also did not offer any solutions or other accommodations. I still have not received my money back for the reservation. I had to walk in the freezing weather with my luggage to find other accommodations.

The room was nasty. Not clean, the bathroom ceiling had dirty stains on it, the carpet was stained bad.

Recently stayed here for a work trip. The entire floor had an overbearing ciggerette and BO Oder. The BO Oder was also on our sheets. The heater didn’t work and it was freezing. They didn’t help to fix it or offer another room. We paid for 2 nights but just stayed one because it was miserable.

No need to drive anywhere. Past 2 stays we have had issues with ac/heat and hot water.

Prime location! Nice rooms we had a view of The Peabody. Staff was nothing short of down-home Southern charm. Can’t wait to stay next year. Five stars in my book

The property and the staff were exceptional. Expedia only reserved 1 of 2 rooms. We made it work but this might be the last time I use them.

After a long day on the road we checked in wanting to shower before going out for the evening. Then we found that there was NO HOT WATER. Went down to the lobby and found the maintenance guy who told us that the boiler wasn't working and he was waiting for a plumber to come and help fix it. We were assured it would be fixed. The front desk person told us we could get a refund if we wanted to leave. After a long day on the road the last thing I wanted was to have to hunt up another hotel to stay in and move there, so given the assurance that the hot water would be fixed we stayed. After going to dinner we wanted to get a drink at the hotel bar - only to find that it had ALREADY CLOSED. This was before 9PM. So we went next door for a drink. When we got back around 10:30 we found that the plumber had just arrived. The maintenance guy told us that he wouldn't be going home until the problem was fixed. We went to our room expecting to have hot water in the morning. There was NO HOT WATER in the morning. Front desk person who checked us out assured us that there should be no problem getting their corporate office to approve a refund. WRONG - no refund.

It was only a short stay but we found the hotel to be great value for the cost. If in Memphis I would absolutely stay there again

Filthy. Toilet was dirty and they wouldn’t clean it. Temp in room was 56 degrees. We could see our breath. We ended up leaving early just to get out of that hotel.

No hot water to take a shower.

After a long day of traveling I arrived to my room without working AC. Took a while to change rooms after notifying front desk. Charged more for "upgraded" room. Screaming and yelling from the streets below all night long. Bar only was serving Bud Light. Towels felt like sandpaper and smelled funny. Would not stay again or recommend to anyone. Rating is waaaay off. Would give this place 4/10 stars and that's being generous.

Valet was very friendly and helpful. Check in/out staff no so much. In middle of nite our bathroom roof started to leak, phone did not work to call for help. Someone had stuck a towel up in roof with live wires. Location was good but building needs work.

The view was nice, the man that checked me in was on the phone the whole time & whispered to me as if I wasn’t the guest. I guess the phone call was more important than the guest.

Hotel was basically ok. It was a little run down but the staff was pleasant and they tried to be accommodating. Memphis is challenged as a city but we did not feel unsafe.

Staff is AMAZING, 1 of the Best Breakfast I have ever had at a hotel that was buffet style, the food was cooked, not just thrown together,,hotel is overdue for renovations especially in bathrooms…

Easy 5 minutes to Beale..staff very friendly and professional

The A/C doesn’t work and they tell me anybody can do something and I need wait next day !! Was hot the room I can’t sleep and be sweeting all night !! Terrible

Staff was great and rooms were clean. Great walking distance to everything!

Dated hotel. AC was barely working. Better options all over downtown Memphis.

The first room I checked into the air-conditioning wasn’t working. They said they would call maintenance, but I went ahead and asked if I could change rooms. The new room AC was working fine. I did notice that in both rooms there were stains on the carpet. The room I ended up staying in had a missing picture in the bathroom. Both rooms had very dirty air vents. Second room phone had missing info. Refrigeration had old stickers and built up dark ice area inside. Meals were adequate, but mustard dipping sauce cups expired on Dec 2022.

When we booked the hotel the view I assumed we were getting was of the Redbirds stadium. Instead it was of a parking garage. We had to change rooms because the first room we had was so hot. The second was a little better but still warm. I don’t recommend this place. Not worth the money!

The room was not very clean, the doors of the rooms are dented, one tiny shampoo and one tiny soap for two people. The AC fan sounded like an airplane engine and was impossible to sleep with it on, I had to turn off and the room was quite hot. The hotel put pre authorization on my card for $220 in spite of the fact that it was a prepaid room. I would not stay there again

My stay at this location was very comfortable. The rooms were clean, staff was knowledgeable and professional. The hotel's location was perfect for my group, as we were able to easily explore alot of what the city has to offer! I would definitely stay again and recommend others.
