The hotel was on at best. My wife and I went on a long vacation from Arizona back east and stayed in 9 hotels all at $100 or less. We did not expect any of the hotels to be giving room service or look new and modern, but of the nine this was the second worse. The building definitely needs some TLC and upgrading, even for a budget motel it not in very good shape. The staff were friendly and helpful enough, and the breakfast was adequate with the same stuff that everyone else serves. But it was not clean even by budget hotel standards and desperately needs Maintenance and remodeling.

The facility is showing its age, the heat/ac unit didn’t look like it’s been cleaned in years, the heat for the room was supplied by a table top heater ( think Walmart special)
The floor next to the tub moved and the shower rod was loose, the lever for the water in the shower is in desperate need of repair.
If I had to guess, I’d say that the staff is trying the best they can, but owners need to step up their efforts

Was charged a 250 dollar deposit that was no menthoned at booking. Room was somewhat clean and smelled horrible of smoke. I was told after 30 minutes of checking in that i could not get a refund. Reservation never stated that pool was closed for some reason. Attendant was rude and overall i have close to 415 dollars charged to a flippen room i was in for 30 minutes with 2 small kids.

This hotel was filthy. The room at check in the shower had hair all over the bottom, the toilet was not cleaned. The bed cover had what looked like a large coffee stain, the pillows themselves were yellow, one pillowcase had a dirty shoe print, and the curtains, were stained. In the hallway on the secon floor the window ledge was covered in dust, someone had drawn in the dirt. The pool and hottub were closed, no one told us at check in. Sunday morning, a homeless man was inside walking around, helping himself to breakfast, the person working the desk didn't speak english well enough to understand that the coffee pot was empty.

This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The front desk made me pay a $100 deposit cash after I already paid for the room. My closet door was punched in, the main light switch didn’t work, and there wasn’t any heat and the system looked very old. I asked for another room and they said no! I guarantee this place isn’t full up. My bathroom sink was clogged with ramen noodles, and icing on this awful cake, there wasn’t even a wire connected to the room phone. I’m never staying at a Quality Inn again after this.

All the bedding was stained and dirty. 2 of the rooms had to change rooms due to this. Just overall very dirty.

Light wasn’t working and they changed my room. The pool/ hot tub wasn’t working. The hot tube was the reason I chose the hotel. Very disappointed

At arrival I stood in line while the staff tried to sort a scheduling issue. While waiting two men walked up to the desk saying that the beds in the room they just checked into were unmade. I continued to wait but the stench of cigarettes was overwhelming. Knowing this would continue to be a problem and result in an asthma problem from me and my children, I left.

Frontdesk could not find my reservation. I spent 45 minutes on phone with Hotels.com to get them to convince hotel I had a reservation. Second, the hot tub was not working. Third, I made a wake up call request which was not done - they had no explanation. Fourth, the breakfast was awful. They had no milk and no juice. There was no apology for any of these issues.

Clerk refused for 5mins to give receipt for required off books $100 deposit, dirty room, duct tape holding bathroom door together, hair on toilet, cigarette holes in sheets, dust all over room, moldy smell in room.

On first impressions, the carpets in the hallways and stairs looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed on a long time. Front desk clerk was efficient, that was the best part of this property. There was hair in the shower, the bathroom floor had dirty footprints and there was dried lettuce on the bathroom counter. I doubt this room had been effectively cleaned. The bed seemed clean, hopefully the sheets had been changed. The free breakfast was ridiculous, no coffee made, no fruit, only cereal and yogurt. No bread for toast. And a jug of water in the fridge so I’m sure that was tap water. There was a waffle iron but nothing to make waffles with. The pool was dark and over chlorinated. Will not stay here again.

Our room was absolutely nasty! Hairs all over bathroom floor, toilet, and shower. Beyond hot, smelt of urine. Mirrors not clean, sink not cleaned. Toilet nasty. My parents room was the same but I found toilet tissue on the floor by bed with poop on it!!!! Beyond horrible!!!!

The pool was closed. When I asked about it at 4:00, the staff kept saying they were opening the pool in a few minutes, but that was not the case. They did open the pool after we left to eat dinner, but we didn't get to enjoy it, as it was 9:30 before we got back and the pool closes at 10. The next day, we checked numerous times throughout the day, but the pool was still closed and the staff said that they were going to open it shortly, but we stopped asking after the 2nd trip because they obviously weren't concerned about opening it. The mattress was too firm, so we had 2 nights with very little sleep and no pool/hot tub access. Will not stay here again.

The air conditioning didn’t work. I went down to tell them and no one was at the front desk. My husband had to sleep in the car because it was too hot.

The room smelled of mold and stale cigarette smoke. I used to smoke and now have COPD so when I say it was bad, it was REALLY bad! The floor in the tub/shower was weak and I felt as if I would fall through. The pool was closed down so we couldn’t swim or use the hot tub.
It was one of the top worse moments’ we canceled our second night due to the conditions. Probably won’t get that night money back but we went to another hotel th at was great. Also, their “breakfast” cold stuff nothing hot. Not even toast.
One more thing, th e fridge wasn’t cold enough to make our soda (2-24oz bottles) cool for the next day.

Upon checking into room with my 3 small children, there was a trash can full of bloodied tissue in the bathroom. The toilet seat hadn’t been cleaned off and there was hair in the sink and tub. Pillow cases weren’t clean, and the top covers smelled. I was informed the next day the pool was closed and not opening after they said it would be at check in. It was the worse stay ever in a hotel. I just wanted a local getaway for my babies and it was a disaster. I checked out demanding a refund for the second night.

Upon pulling into the hotel lot there was many people loitering about and smoking. Hotel from the outside seems sketchy. The lobby was not clean and the rooms are dirty and disgusting. And the smell is awful. Fortunately for me I’m only staying one night. I would want to have an extended stay at this hotel.

No remote in the room for the TV. Front desk tried to make a universal remote work but could not get it to work. I tried for about an hour myself following the instructions for the remote. Nothing worked.

The room smelled bad. Could not get the AC to work, the bathroom smelled like pee, and I was bitten by something in the bed. Not sure if it was bedbugs or just what. I’ll never stay at a Quality Inn ever again!!!

This was the dirtiest hotel I've ever been in! Stains on our mattress covers and curtains. Bathroom had hair in the shower and toilet seat cover. I'm pretty sure the room was never cleaned, but, i guess the site said no frills, so I'm guessing cleanin is included in that. The bathroom for even had a broken tile that moved when you stepped on it. We didn't feel safe, as our door lock was almost off the door, so loose, looks like it had been previously broken in. The drawer handle was held together with duck tape. The list goes on. There was a convention in town, so things were booked in the area or we would have moved! We left tired from not sleeping and didn't want to use the shower. There is no quality to this hotel. The health inspectors would have a field day!

Conveniently located among restaurants and thoroughfares in North Dayton.
Property is outdated and one of the least impressive in the strip of hotels nearby.
Rooms were surprisingly clean, but showing signs of age (cracking paint, a/c doesn’t blow cold air, thin windows, etc). The hallways and lobby are in similar shape.
Shower water pressure was extremely low, had to move rooms due to air conditioning while working in the first one, towels are extremely thin, hotel smelled like marijuana.
Won’t be staying here again.

Service: Great. All staff who were on site when I checked in and out were excellent (did not catch names).
The biggest issue was how warm it was in my room. After getting a King Size room, it was incredibly hot throughout the night despite having the air at the lowest setting.

The staff was really nice. The vending machine was not current so it was taking money.
The lamp in my room went out after one night of us staying there. My son wanted to go swimming at the time they stated the pool would be opened but no one was on site to open the pool area door so he couldn't go swimming at all. There wasn't a lot of options for breakfast so we made do with what was provided. Other than that, the beds were comfortable.
