Staff was great, room clean and big. Bed comfortable. Great location.We usually stay here when in Ft Lauderdale. About 7 times a year following our daughter playing softball for NSU Feb - May. Just wish they would fix that front elevator (over a year now down) and change their breakfast every now and then , instead of sausage and frozen cheese omelette every day.

We've stayed here several times .. significant renovation (still in progress) makes this an ever increasing pleasure to visit. The faulty elevator (front) is out of service and apparently to be replaced.

The front desk staff and kitchen staff were super helpful with our large party. The complimentary breakfast was limited but did the job to keep the young kids happy. They had cereal, oatmeal, eggs, sausages and make your own waffles.

The hotel definitely needs to be updated. There was water damage on the wall above the bed and it looked like mold in the bathroom shower area

Good clean hotel, good location and reasonably priced. The room windows could do with 1) being cleaned and 2) require updating/replacing.

After checking in we left to have dinner. We left all of our belongings in the room, including tablets, jewelry, and a laptop computer. When we returned from dinner our room key was not working. The gentleman in the room next door came out and told us that we were going to need to go to the front desk to have our keys fixed because they checked him into our room. He reported to us that he entered the room and realized that it was already occupied so he went back to the front desk. When we went to speak with the front desk about the situation the employee lied to us about what happened and told us that nobody went into our room unattended. Very disappointed. We do not think anything is missing, but any of our belongings could have been stolen due to this error.

The key didn’t work in the exterior door. The elevators were broken. The halls smelled musty. No extra blankets. This hotel has gone consistently downhill over the last year.

Convenient location..close to highways. Room was clean..staff was helpful and nice. Free breakfast was a plus

The mattress was a disaster.

Let's start off with the Hotel is pet friendly and seemed clean walking in aside from heavy scented air freshener. The room and bed clean and comfortable. The big problem the whole bathroom faucet was totally lose and ran very weak pressure, comparative to a turkey baster! Immediately checked the shower, it ran well. Unfortunately it drained as slow as the faucet ran! Staying only one night We accepted the situation. Notifying them in the morning Management did offer another room but as I said it was acceptably clean and only one night.

Basic hotel in Plantation. Standard check in. Some of the public areas looked like they had been abandoned mid decoration, and lift was out of order. Basic breakfast with lots of non recyclables / plastic wrapped in plastic utensils could do with a review. Most annoying thing was deposit taken on credit card. This was not refunded for a week, when I enquired as to where this money had gone I got this curt reply from them: “Hello. Please contact your bank. Thank you” ….not the best customer service. Overall, would not book again when there is plenty of choice in this area.

It was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. There was a soccer tournament and kids were running the halls and screaming all night and nothing was being done by anyone to stop it. I want my money reimbursed

They put us in a room that we couldn't hook ip to wi-fi or internet and when I requested another room the lady at the front desk said that wasn't a good enough reason to change or get reimbursed for the 2nd night stay. It wasnt the nicest LaQuinta ive stayed at, especially for the price i was charged. I probably won't go back to that hotel again.

Great location and value extra friendly staff

Our stay was excellent. Hotel is a little worn but under going renovations. I found everything to be clean and in working order. Our room had wood floors. The bed was comfortable. The woman in charge of the morning buffet was so nice! Very easy walk to Publix and restaurants.

Clean and bed comfortable. Shower was only lukewarm and elevators not working. We are older and carrying luggage up a flight of stairs is not back friendly for us. We won’t be staying again.

Friendly. Accommodating. Clean. Hot tub and pool very nice. Easy walking distance to restaurants and grocery. Laundry facilities perfect. Loved my stay for cruise departure. Uber ride was $20 to cruise port.

Excellent area, good restaurants fairly close. The room was very comfortable, but the bathroom was not very clean, I found several cockroaches there during our last night.

It started off bad. There elevator wasn’t working and I had to carry some heavy luggage to the 2nd floor. The room was very clean and we received fresh towels every day. Breakfast was pretty good. The only other problem was the smell of marijuana coming into the room from outside through the AC vent.

No issues, service was great and guy at the front desk was very welcoming. I checked in very late and he was accommodating.

Hotel under construction. Old and smelly

The rooms at the La Quinta are very dated. The shower leaked from the top constantly, spraying outside of the shower curtain, all over the floor, which had to be cleaned up after every single person showered. We did not need room service on our second day, but we did need more towels. I attempted to get more towels from housekeeping, but they said they were completely out of towels. This location is quite far inland and not located close to a beach, but for the price, it is way too expensive. The breakfast was OK but not great either, compared to other La Quinta that we've stayed at. The gentleman that was preparing the breakfast was great and very helpful, but he seemed to be overwhelmed because it's a lot of work to keep up with all of the people staying at the hotel. All in all, I was quite disappointed with our stay, comparing this to other La Quinta hotels that we've stayed at.

I normally don’t leave bad reviews, but this place was too much. Room looked nice when we first got checked in, but before I ever opened my suitcase I noticed there was dog hair all over the floor. It had a laminate type flooring, not carpet, and everywhere I looked there was dog hair. We heard one of their housekeeping staff out in the hall and went to ask if they could clean it, and her only response was “no comprendo.” I wiped up what I could with some damp tissues and tried very hard to not touch the floor with bare feet. I opened the drapes and thought the window glass was frosted because I couldn’t see out. Turns out it was just dirty. Even windows in some of the public areas were so bad you couldn’t see out of them. We were on the 4th floor so we needed to use the elevator. It was very slow and the door crashed every time it closed. We could hear it from our room at the opposite end of the hall. The second morning we were there it only worked intermittently, requiring us to carry all our luggage down 3 flights of stairs. When we came out of the stairwell one of the housekeeping staff was standing in front of the doorway with her cart and refused to move, so that everyone exiting the stairwell had to squeeze between her cart and the wall. When we checked out and I told her about the dog hair, she was like oh, sorry. All the new-appearing carpets and painted walls made me think of the phrase “lipstick on a pig”.

Lots of noise at night unless you’re a late sleeper. Was good for a night or two stay.

Hotel itself was decent, location was safe and decent. It requires driving to get to anything but I expected that. Staff was friendly. However, maintenance seems to be problematic. The elevator was very sketchy enough we chose to haul our luggage up and down the 4 flights of stairs. And the door handle to first floor exit was broken and hard to open. The handle actually came off while trying to pull door open. Other than that the stay was good. Beds were just ok, nothing to write home about. The rooms had sounds from vents and other mechanicals so bring white noise.
