Silver Palms Inn & Historic Homes

The hotel has an excellent location very close from the center. The breakfast surprises us because it says a continental, but it was more than that totally free . The pool water transparent. The only inconvenience was the parking lot. The Hotel does not have to many lots. Overall Good 👍

Silver Palms is conveniently located near Duval St. My family and I only drove around the first day because we didn’t even know how close we truly were to everything. Our longest walk was 20 mins which is just fine for us. If not, parking in most street spots was $6/hr. This hotel also had parking on site *about 25-30 spots. We literally parked our car on day one and didn’t touch it after realizing how walkable everything was. Breakfast is included which is standard yogurt and cereal but there’s also an omelet bar that we didn’t get to use sadly. Staff was very friendly and helpful, made check in and out super easy and told us all about the amenities. Room was large enough, bathroom did NOT get hot or muggy which is awesome here in Florida. The AC was also amazing, another big bonus for us. Our room came with a balcony and it looked like most rooms did which was also another nice addition. Overall, for 4th of July weekend plus amenities and walkability, this hotel was WELL WORTH its price. Would stay again!!

This place is actually an amazing way to stay in Key West. It's right in the historical district, just a couple streets down from Duvall. And while it might not have as much charm as some of the old bed and breakfast inns in the area, it also has more space for less cost, copious free parking, plus there was a guy just cooking omelets next the pool every morning. Delightful experience.
