Amazing hidden gem in Atitlan. The property is beautiful, it has 2 pools and one is thermal. Suites have beautiful balconies. Only downside is the restaurant, portions are very small and they use weird combinations like putting green onions on breakfast eggs, basically you go around the whole day smelling like onions.

Place is beautiful, it’s a quiet little town and staff were very helpful and nice.

This was a very beautiful hotel. The pools are immaculate. It was quite a lovely, relaxing place to stay with my family.

The outdoor private patio and daily breakfast included was and added perk. The beds was a bit hard but nothing unbearable and the walls are thin so everything can be heard from the neighbors. The location was well kept and the staff was friendly. The pool was bigger than expected and the jacuzzi was a great bonus. The location was calming and serene. Would definitely stay here again.

This is the most amazing property on Lake Atitlan. We visited many of the other properties during our stay either for dinner or a day pass and always felt reassured in our decision to stay here. For starters, unlike many of the other properties that are shoreside and dependent on the boats in order to leave, Villa Santa Catarina sits right in the heart of the town and is accessible directly by road, not up any steep hills or cobble terrain. This means you can arrive by mobile transport without having to lunge your luggage into a boat after a long day of travel. The towns dock also sits right behind the property making it an easy access to explore without feeling obliged to go to Panajachel. The grounds are breathtaking. No other property truly compared to this one. The staff takes such incredible pride in meeting every single detail from the gardens to the restaurant details. The food. Omg, just for the food come. Dinner here is awing, the scenery, the culinary experience, the serving staffs warm disposition. All of it together made this such a remarkable vacation. We were always met with optimism for any dietary requests and that was such a huge plus because it’s not the case everywhere. I’d also like to reiterate how lovely the wait staff is. What we liked most about this property was the shared understanding of rest and relax. It was great to explore during the day and come back to a property that was serene and mature. I’m aching to go back.

Hella mosquitoes, beware and bring your bug spray. Its pretty villa it just no AC nor fan.

Property is old and not well maintained.. bathrooms had water leak and full of mosquito, look dirty, mattress are old dirty..

Very nice and clean hotel!!

This is a beautiful property. Grounds are great, pool and hot tub are good and food at the on site restaurant was super convenient. There are not a lot of other good food options near by. If you can request rooms away from the hot tub as that stays a little noisy until 10pm.

Nice and clean. Nice balcony. we had the room right next to the restaurant and it was very noisy. There also a crazy rooster nearby that started singing in the middle of the night. Thank god we had ear plugs :-). Nevertheless, we had a very enjoyable stay.

I absolutely loved staying here. The room was nice especially with the balcony, accommodated 3 beds, and the free breakfast was large and tasty! We also booked the private pool for free one night - highly recommend. I can’t stop raving to my friends about how much I love this hotel!

This is a beautiful hotel! Boutique style, clean, lovely staff, delicious restaurant. It is a little hard to find if you are driving, but nothing GPS can’t solve. I highly recommend! I loved it!

Great location in a small town with private space right by lake access and public piers

First time coming to hotel villa santa Catarina palopo it was an amazing place to stay this is like a dream came thru. Food was really good . Pool and jacuzzi was amazing I love this place. New York 🗽 in that house

Breathtaking garden area and friendly staff. The town in which the hotel is located can use some improvement , but the view of the lake is great.

TV remote was not provided, they didn’t have one that “matched” the tv the room had. Pool reservation was not done correctly, even though I reserved I e day in advance. Restaurant menu was poor

I liked the service and the location. I didn't like the food at the restaurant so much.

No fue lo que esperaba. Tenía altas expectativas del hotel, al llegar estuve parado más de cinco minutos en el carro ya que nadie me recibió en el portón, luego, nadie me ayudó con mi equipaje del carro para el lobby. La encargada del check-in Nathalia, es una persona amable y atenta. La habitación estaba ok, ni bueno ni malo. Cuando me intenté bañar por la noche no había agua caliente, algo que no esperaba. La piscina y amenidades eran utilizadas por horario, tomamos el horario de las 11am a 12pm de la piscina de agua termal, nadie pudo avisarnos que no estaba funcionando la piscina si no hasta que estábamos listos para utilizarla. En general el hotel es bonito, solamente esperaba una mejor experiencia, no lo recomiendo, no dan la experiencia que uno espera.
