Hotel Lar Aike

Everything was excellent! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and they even arranged a taxi for us from the airport. The room was spacious and very clean, the breakfast was lovely, and the common area was beautiful and welcoming.

The hotel is located a little outside the town centre, but this was only a minor inconvenience.

Location is far from downtown so need to drive. Facilities looks a bit outdated. No elevator so watch if you have heavy luggage.

Lar Aike is a very nice, spacious hotel. The entrance hall and salons have these large chairs and divans with a wonderful view on the lake. The price to pay for this great view is that it is a little far from the downtown area. There are some nice restaurants within a short walk though and the boardwalk that goes along the lake is just across the street. There is a grocery store, bakery and deli not too far! Our room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was very good in a nice large dining room. The staff was very nice and helpful. I certainly recommend Lar Aike for the view and comfort.
