Ibrox Argyll Inn

No problem parking outside property. Easy access. Good sized bedroom and clean. Good bathroom and shower. Only 100 metres from the Ibrox subway, so easy journey in and out of the city centre. I believe breakfast was on offer but I didn't check it out.

Could have done with a few decent coat hangers.

The bathroom was spotless and the shower is fantastic. There was boxes of coffee, sugar, tea and milk to top up the room stocks when needed and the breakfast items available were decent. We had the choice of pain o chocolates, different individual cereals semi skimmed and full fat milk, white and brown bread and margarine spread and bananas. The mattress is comfy.

bedding is old and flat with snags and I found hair in my bed. We couldn't have the curtains open without the people using the kitchen area being able to look into our room as there was no blind, net or voil up just curtains. There was no bulb in the main ceiling light, the sunken lights were frantically flickering as were the wall lights which kept making me loose my balance because I cant be around flashing lights so we basically had to make do with the bathroom light and what we got from the TV. The cooker is filthy and you could write your name in the layer of greasy dust on top of the fridge that sits on a dirty sheet of polystyrene on the worktop. Im glad we didn't have a room upstairs as there are metal rails missing in places going up and also the steps are old wooden ones that have been painted with what looked like gloss paint and were covered in dirty foot marks and what looked like lots of slips from the sleek surface.

Great location really handy for the airport. Nice big comfy bed and able to charge phone near bed. Plenty of space to put a case etc. Nice shower

Tiny bathroom which you could barely get into. On arrival we were told if the door wasn't open there was a key safe. It was pouring rain, door locked, opened key safe, no key. Phoned camera doorbell (all while standing in a downpour getting soaked). Answered at first, possibly by a child as no one talking. Eventually someone spoke, we explained the door was locked, they insisted it was not. I had to repeat multiple times that the door was definitely locked (all the while getting more soaked) before they agreed to come out. They actually asked another guest to let us in. We were also told there was continental breakfast. This consisted of bread, cereal, milk. A few pre packed pain au chocolat and a few bananas. No juice, no croissants etc. Not my idea of a breakfast.
