Dekalb Hotel Istanbul

This hotel is lovely, the rooms large and comfortable and the bed is perfect. The location on the edge of the Kadikoy area and very close to the ferries is perfect for those who want the nightlife and to get over to the other side to explore the sites. The room was super quiet despite being on a busy road - I could not hear a thing, and the aircon was quiet.

Nothing really. Although my towels and soap were needlessly changed each day which felt a bit wasteful.

Frendly and very helpful staff!!! Big shout out to Kemer - great guy. Also very clean and top location. Close to ferry and evening entertainment

Nothing I can think of

Very attentive staff, they gave us a free room upgrade. Best feature for me was very good sound isolation! Especially the French windows! I didn't expect that and was very pleasantly surprised, that's a huge bonus and so rare in Istanbul! Facing very busy Moda traffic with trams, cars and crowds, we didn't hear it! Also we didn't hear the neighbors with one exclusion, listed below. The staff provided us with all bath products, and by request - dental kits. Tge ckeaning was good. The room itself was large and very comfortable, TV had both English language and Russian channels. Also, the location is unbeatable, it' basically overlooking the Moda metro station!

Just two little things: First: the carpeted floor which is light blue and white was once very beautiful, but extremely non practical for a hotel. It already had stains and was quite worn out. Second: the room doors are very heavy, so it's not possible to close them quietly! So the only time we heard our neighbors (2 ladies) was when they entered and left the room. I suspect they also heard me in the same situation))

Ich habe schon zum dritten mal dieses Hotel gewählt und würde auch kein anderes mehr wählen die Zimmer sind sehr sauber die Lage einfach nur perfekt und alle Mitarbeiter hilfsbereit 10/10 kann es jedem nur empfehlen
