Good location, a short walk to kings cross. Upon arrival, the host was friendly and made pleasant small talk. He didn't get in my way. He handed me some keys and let me get on with my night. Spacious room and big double bed to crash. There was a fan in the room which in this summer 2026 heat was a godsend. I would stay again if I was looking for a cheap night in London.
I honestly was a bit skeptical of the location as I arrived late at night and the building is positioned down a side street in what I'd class as being a little intimidating. The walk up the stairs to the flat also was a bit intimidating as the building is quite run down. Wouldn't want to be a single girl arriving at that time at night.

The owner was really helpful with excellent communication . He made me a cup of tea when I arrived and made suggestions for local walks and restaurants.
Difficult to control but it was very hot. I would have liked to understand if I could make tea in the morning before my early departure and some newer soap and more loo roll in the bathroom would have been reassuring

We liked that the room was pretty close to the Tube and that there were a lot of dinings around.
We weren't able to close the room door while we were outside, and the host had his room connected with the corridor, the curtain was the border between the corridor and his room...
