Rooms are enormous and views are good if room is above the tree line on the back of the hotel overlooking the park. Breakfast is good and includes most international choices. Reception and concierge staff are engaging and helpful. Most of the city's famous sites, Vitosha Blvd, trams and the metro are within easy walking distance.
Rooms on the front of the hotel on floors 1-6 look straight at a huge adjacent building site and two tower cranes which is under full renovation. Ambience of the Grand Cafe (separate entrance on the ground floor) covered area is very dull and needs renovation / brightening up.

The location is great and the room was comfortable
We stayed in the corner suite.
The room was big, but the layout was not very good. I was expecting more attentive and proactive service, but I had to remind the staff several times about some amenities I thought would be provided automatically. I personally feel uncomfortable asking many times about such things, so in the end I decided to stop asking.
