Great location, courteous and helpful staff, good restaurants on site

The staff were incredible and truly made our stay feel very welcoming. The room was very spacious, and the bath had a jacuzzi function, which was incredibly relaxing. The city view was beautiful, and we were able to see Tokyo Tower from the room. The breakfast was wonderful, the staff provided a variety of juices and the view of the garden was amazing.

Unfortunately, the women’s onsen experience was affected by a group of guests who were wearing strong perfumes, which lingered throughout the area. It was also later learned that the same group of foreign guests had left what could only be described as faeces in the shower area. In the men’s onsen, there were young children running around, despite signs clearly stating in multiple languages that children were not permitted. There were also two massage chairs in the relaxation room. Unfortunately, two couples repeatedly refused to allow other guests to use them, continuing to reuse the chairs even though there appeared to be a queue of people waiting. Overall, these incidents made it difficult for other guests to enjoy the facilities comfortably.

Absolutely perfect hotel. Amazing service—the staff helped us with every request. Everything is clean and well maintained, and the rooms are cleaned and tidied twice a day. The Japanese gardens are beautiful, and the location is excellent, right next to Shinagawa Station.

You should know that in Japan, there is an extra charge to use the swimming pool.

Allowed us to check in early when we switched hotels around 12pm. Greeted by a nonchalant male concierge but this was offset by a helpful female concierge who was new to job who helped us with our luggages and there were quite a few. Italian restaurant served good food.

They placed us in a room at the far end of the corridor facing a hotel room used as a store room. Without fail every morning it was hustle bustle of activities with loud noise accompaniment. Despite staying for 11 nights, we were not offered any upgrades whatsoever. We also were put on a low floor and I expected better.
