Mirage Mer B&B

We had a lovely stay at Mirage Mer. It is very handy to reach from the station and also to walk to the centre of the town. We had a bit of a hiccup getting access but if you send a copy of your passport when the host asks for it, then he will send you the code number to access all the doors. The host is very helpful with information about Catania. There were a few restaurants near the accommodation and we chose one for our evening meal. The room was clean with all the facilities you'd expect. There was a communal kitchen in which to make tea/coffee which was a bonus and an outdoor terrace. We would stay again.

The shower could have been a bit bigger.

Very nice room with balcony and water view. Super close to the train station and walking distance to the city center.

We couldn’t find very many restaurants around the area. But there was a very nice food truck close by that stay open until late.

Nice clean rooms with excellent wi-fi, good comfortable mattress and pillows. There was a balcony and a view to the harbour. When I woke up I could see that 2 big cruise ships had docked during the night which was an amazing sight. The staff were very warm and welcoming, contacting me before arrival and making all necessary arrangements for the check-in for my early arrival. City centre and main railway and bus station are within a 10 min walking distance with bus stop for airport just around the corner. The staff were super friendly, in a sweet motherly fashion. And the welcome sign in the room with my name on it was the cherry on the cake. I hope to return here one day.

There were no dislikes with this accomodation.
