To enter the home, there's the option of stairs or a ramp. It makes it easier for disabled people to be more independent and confident in walking up to the house. There is one step to get in the house. The restroom ia not wheelchair accessable. It is certainly disability friendly but by definition, not handicapped fully accessible. The ramp ia also fabulous for bringing suitcases and groceries in to the house, roll nicely up in a wagon. The home is spacious and roomy. The beds are comfortable. The home was in beautiful teal colors as photos show. The high ceilings in the main room made it feel very spacious. There were adequate pots to cook in and serving utensils in the kitchen. There were nice TVs in every room but we didn't watch them because the beach and views are awesome. There's a foot bridge that goes over the sand dunes to take you directly to the beach next door, (at the end of the street) in very easy walking distance. There's adequate parking for several vehicles. There was a bonus suprise- a small area for pets to relieve themselves at the end of the ramp! Bring your own bags!

There's no ice maker in the freezer and there were also no ice cube trays the freezer. There was no strainer but that was a minor inconvenience. There's mosquitoes in Surfside~bring mosquito spray! There were a bug or two in the house but that's to be expected with living on the coast. The house is very clean. The washer and dryer was very modern and was a little confusing for me to get it to start. By no means was it their fault! While there is a ramp and a beautiful deck, there are spots that are uneven. Host was very responsive to a message and promptly returned my call. Problem was fixed promptly. Indoor stairs going up to the second floor were very steep. Really my complaints are minor we had a great time!
