Ullinish House

Unique restored 18c home. Wonderful. Good bed, quiet, relaxing.

Fantastic breakfast! Lovely hosts. Beautiful room.

The pod was well equipped (microwave, refrigerator, hairdryer, shower products, etc), properly heated, the decoration is stunning, the furniture comfortable Everything was on point and we can tell that was picked carefully and intentionally

Nothing to mention

We knew it from a trip some years ago when it was a hotel. It’s the same beautiful location and furnishings.

We didn’t realize from the description that this isn’t a hotel anymore, and unfortunately only realized this after reserving, when I got the message that there’s no restaurant, etc. They only offer non-refundable bookings so you’re out of luck by the time you make the reservation and get this message. We arrived and there’s no reception. We wandered around until we found the name of the room we were supposed to stay in because there’s no one to ask questions about where to go. It’s very far from any restaurant so we had to get snacks from a food truck up the road. Their check-in time is 5pm which is much later than other places. Some other reviewers mentioned that the hosts are nice, but I didn’t see anyone the whole time I was there. There was a tray with croissants, a boiled egg and juice at breakfast (I didn’t see any cheese as mentioned in the description.) If you’re expecting an air b&b experience, this is a lovely place for that. It’s just not what I was looking for and I wish I’d realized it up front before booking.
