when I would give our room and it was in the basement my heart did sink but when we got to our room it had a huge skylight which could be controlled from the bedside.
On the day of check out my daughter had a autistic meltdown, and totally shutdown (did too much the day before) the hotel staff were amazing and extended our check out by 1 hour, thank you so much, this really helped my daughter.

The location is near Kings Cross Railway Station which suited me. I read that this hotel could be noisy and ear plugs were provided. However, the room I was given I did not hear any street noise. The room was in good order and everything was fresh in appearance and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
I booked a compact double room and really did not realise how compact the room would be. The room was the width of the bed. This is OK for a couple of nights but two people staying in this room would be falling over each other getting from A to B. No kettle to make a cup of tea/coffee. Hardly surprising since there was no room for a small table to put a kettle on.
The breakfast was fairly basic. Don't expect a buffet style breakfast of bigger hotels.

"Das Personal war außergewöhlich Freundlich und sehr bemüht! Das einzige Manko sind die sehr kleinen Zimmer, damit muss man in London in dieser Preosklasse jedoch rechenen. Fürhstück völlig ok!"
