The apartment was lovely. The quirky bedrooms upstairs were comfortable, and the whole place had a calm, relaxed feel to it. Although the rooms can all be curtained off, the apartment still has a wonderfully open feel. The bathroom and toilet were both clean, and the small kitchen was perfect for preparing a few snacks. In reality, though, being so close to all the restaurants and bars meant we rarely needed to cook. The kitchen was well stocked with glasses, plates and everything else we needed. The location was fantastic and made you feel as though you were living in the city rather than simply staying there for a few days. It was just a short walk down to the sea for a pre-breakfast swim, and the market nearby was wonderful, with fantastic bread, cheese, meat and fruit, as well as a whole host of other things. Our hosts were also excellent and gave us some really good recommendations for places to eat. We had a lovely stay and would happily come back.

We really enjoyed our stay, so these are more things to be aware of than complaints. The stairs up to the loft bedrooms are quite steep, which wasn’t a problem for us but might be worth knowing if you have any mobility issues. The apartment is in a very central location, so there is some nighttime noise from the surrounding streets. The hosts thoughtfully provide earbuds, although we never felt the need to use them. For us, the central location was a big part of the appeal and we would happily stay here again.

Terrific location lots of cafes and bars and a short walk to the beach. Kitchen was great and had everything. Beds were comfortable.

Bathroom was smelly, check it was a little difficult. Being a loft apartment bedrooms were very open and not a lot of privacy with 5 people. Aircon worked great but didn't get to top levels very well. Apartment is quite old and could do with a make over but it was large enough for a family of 5 to spread out.
