Elvin made my two nights better than I could have imagined! He really went out of his way to make sure my experience was good, and helped me find my way toward reasonable cash exchanges, restaurants with reasonable prices, good food, and live music! I had been in the area for 3 weeks, and Elvin helped me enjoy my last few days in Africa before I returned to America. He provided taxi service at a reasonable cost in a comfortable, reliable vehicle. (And even took my friend to the airport, who wasn't even staying here.) It's a short walk from the main strip in Banjul. It has water, hot water, comfortable bed, air conditioning, WiFi, etc. It is a comfortable place with reliable amenities. The shower was exceptional. Aside from having a nice room and bathroom, there's a lovely outdoor area with a hammock where you can enjoy the day without enjoying the city, if that's what you want. And it's only a short walk to the beach. I would definitely stay here again whenever I have the opportunity to return. Elvin is a great guy and he (and his partner Alice) have made an amazing place here. I would strongly suggest this place! Don't stay here if you expect food etc to be provided for you. It is not a beachside hotel, but it is quite close to beachside hotels and you can walk to them, go to the beach, have drinks etc if you like.
