avid hotel Traverse City by IHG

Great price for the location. Hotel was clean. They have coffee available 24 hours a day. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Check in was 3:00. Got there at 3:30. There were no rooms available for check in. They don’t clean your room each day. They only empty your trash and leave new towels. They don’t make your bed, sweep the floor, clean counter tops, etc. One day we got no service because they said there were no towels available to deliver. The continental breakfast is pretty much nonexistent. If you don’t get there as soon as it starts you’re not getting anything. Once it’s empty they’re not going to refill.

The hotel was very clean and modern. Hot and cold breakfast was great.

The hotel had no closets, but it did have external hooks to hang clothing on the walls The hotel did not provide a locked safety box in room. This is definitely a drawback because this is considered standard I. Most hotel rooms.

The hotel was new and the room was clean. Beds were comfortable.

Nothing.

Sort of on our driving route

Couldn’t check in till almost 6pm!! No room information No tissues in room No pen, paper or dirty clothes bag No extra chair and we had 2 people in the room!!! No apple juice in AM- water came out! No one really seems to care and my husband has a physical disability
