Host was great. Golf cart was a plus. Good games on top floor for rainy days. Fun times make great memories.

With a group of 4 teens, 2 college studies plus their parents and grandparents, it’s nearly impossible to find a VRBO satisfying everyone but this one certainly did. The host was highly responsive and quickly had a maintenance person on-site when we had a minor issue. The home was comfortable with amazing views of the ocean and our own private pool and beach area. We loved being next to the Blue Parrot and across the street from Weber’s Donuts (go early before they open if you want to choose from their full selection). We also loved seeing the island using the golf cart. We really can’t say anything negative about our experience though and update to the kitchen pots and pans would be nice for families planning to cook more than we did. Thank you so much for a fantastic family spring break experience!

We have stayed in homes on vacation all over the USA, this home was definitely one of our favorites! We are already making plans to stay here again next year! Clean, well stocked, great location, beautiful views, pet friendly, children friendly! The golf cart was definitely a hit with everyone as well!

This house is right where you want to be! Near the food and shops on the island. It's all walkable, or you can use the golf cart. All small local businesses. No fast food or big box stores to ruin the small island laid back vibe. Conveniently located right next to the Blue Parrot Cafe, we popped over for a bite on the oceanside deck and yummy drinks. We were pleasantly surprised that PJ'S had pretty decent pizza too. Just step out past the private pool and straight onto the beach. The beaches are very nice on SGI. We went for several walks up in both directions on the beach. Peaceful. Nicest beach in the area. The house was roomy and private with no lack of bathrooms. Each floor is like it's own private suite. The top floor has it's own suite, kitchenette and private deck. A surprise bonus was being able to see the lighthouse at sunrise. So many amenities that we ran out of time to try them all. Next time we'll be sure to use the margaritas machine! The host was super responsive to questions. Would definitely stay here again

Best rental on St George Island - location, amenities and ambiance. Sleeps 12 in comfort and each of 4 floors has balcony view of Gulf. Elevator, pool, golf cart, full tech amenities. beach wheel chair for handicapped and all jacuzzi tubs . Perfect for our family of 3 generations!

We loved our stay at Birds Eye View. The home was extremely clean and very well-equipped with everything we needed during our stay. The host was super nice. She gave us a lot of recommendations for things to do in the area and was super responsive. We loved having the free golf cart to use during our stay. The home fit our large group very well. There are 4 separate floors and each of the bedrooms has a private ensuite bathroom. Everyone had plenty of space to spread out. The arcade and game table were a big hit with the kids. The location of the house was super convenient, and close to everything as well. Birds Eye View has been our favorite house to stay at on the island. We plan to come back soon!

We loved Birds Eye View! It was a somewhat last-minute decision to go to the beach this past weekend. We wanted to do something special for my mom for Christmas and SGI is one of her favorite places to go. Kaitlin, the host, was super nice and helpful. Thank you for accommodating a last-minute booking! We chose this house because my mom is handicapped. There was an elevator and also a beach wheelchair available for us to use! We have never used a beach wheelchair before because we haven't been able to find one for rent in the area. It was a nice bonus! My mom really loved being able to go out on the beach easily. The house was very clean, and it was stocked with everything we needed during our stay. We loved seeing Gareth the Gargoyle dressed up in his Santa hat for the holidays. The Christmas decorations really made it special. Thank you for letting us visit your beautiful home! We will be back.

First I will start off with the positives, elevator, and 6 seater golf cart, magnificent views. Beds were very comfortable, most furniture was not worn out and relatively newer. Now the down sides… floors were filthy in the house when I arrived, I have pictures to back this up. I called the hostess and she too was upset about it. I then when downstairs to the breezeway between the back of the house going to pool area. There was about 200 feet of hoses sprawled out with water going to them so it was difficult to try and move them off the concrete area out of the way.( trip hazard ) again pictures to confirm. There is a recessed light fixture in the kitchen that is hanging out of the ceiling and the bulb kept flickering. The ice maker in the refrigerator was froze up solid and I was instructed by the hostess to just unclog it, which I did and the maker than started working. The gas stove in the kitchen had knobs that if you bumped into them they would turn to open, 3 times we had to turn them off after smelling gas. We learned to check often as with more than two people behind the bar it is easy to bump them. The toilet in the bunk bed room was not working, I was instructed by the hostess to use a bucket to flush the toilet. My son in law wound up getting it fixed to be usable. It still needs attention, the shower in the bunk room did not work due to the fact that the plunger had corroded off. The back metal safety fence leading to the beach is corrode at the bottom which resulted in my daughter getting her ankle cut to her foot when it was swung shut by the wind. I’m sure a lot of this sounds petty to some of you reading it but I have never rented through VRBO or other sites like it before so I had high expectations on a quality rental. The amount would have been insignificant had it not been for the attitude of the hostess about the problems. She did tell me on day one to find another place and she would refund my money, however my kids and grandkids where traveling to get there and we had a significant amount ofgroceries. I did try to find other accommodations but being it was Thanksgiving week there wasn’t anything available that could accommodate our needs. I owned and ran a 5 star Aerodrome Venue for 15 years and I guarantee I kept a 24/7 handyman on my payroll for any problems that can arise, especially for rental facilities.

We had a great time. The location and proximity to the ocean was optimal - literally right out the back door and onto the beach. The multiple balconies overlooking the beach were well used. Thanks for a great week!

First time in St George and we enjoyed the week, the house is centrally located with most things in walking distance or easy golf cart drive. We had 8 adults and 6 kids so plenty of beds and bathrooms which made it easy to spread out. The beach and small pool are very convenient, with toys, a kayak and beach chairs all provided. The pool was dirty when we first arrived, but was cleaned the next morning after we made the call, great response time. It is a very narrow house and has four flights of stairs, which was a challenge for the younger kids and our older folks (me), but it is workable and has an elevator that makes moving luggage much easier. The driveway is narrow so we parked most cars across the street so we could get the golf cart in and out easier. This wasn't a problem as everything is so close, but having a golf cart is a big plus! For food, the Blue Parrot and Paddy's were easily the best, and I can't recommend the others nearby due to service and poor food. And the Blue Parrot being next door was not a problem with noise, in fact - it was great to have for a drink or quick bite to eat. Overall, we enjoyed the quiet and calm of SGI, the house worked fine for us (even with stairs), restaurants were a challenge, enjoyed the park on the east end of the island, and Apalachicola is only 15 minutes away with great food and shopping. We would stay there again

Loved the location of the house, right next to everything from restaurants, coffee shops, convenience stores. The house is very well equipped, pool, private beach access, enough bathrooms for a large group. Three levels of beautiful ocean views. The included golf cart, kayak added to the fun. The owner was very responsive and got a few of the minor issues fixed immediately. Overall, we had a fabulous time and will definitely come back again!

I was a little worried about being located next to the Blue Parrot, but it ended up being the best decision we've made! We've stayed at a lot of SGI Properties: this is the only one we'll want to stay at in the future. The Blue Parrot is literally next door. You can crawl home if you need to. Donuts and Starbucks across the street. The best/busiest beach is right in front of you. Shopping and BJ's pizza a block away. You don't need a golf cart, here! The house is bigger than it looks and has multiple living places for multiple families: tons of separate bathrooms for the ladies. It's freshly renovated and comfortable. The elevator servicing all floors is a huge bonus. And the pool! The plantation is buggy and annoying to get into, with the gate. We'll never go back there, compared to Birds Eye View. East end is definitely more private if you want peace/privacy, but the kids loved being within walking distance of everything and the parents loved being at the Tiki Hut at Blue Parrot....and not have to drive home! Lock your keys away and everything you need is within a few feet of this place. We will surely want to come to this house every year! Thank you, Kaitlin
